We had been meaning to try this bistro for a long time. I think the experience would have been more enjoyable had we gone during the tourist season. The appies which we shared were good, but pricey. The wine was also expensive for such a modest bistro.

I really wanted to try the restaurant and left several messages & emails and no one ever replied or called back. Took my business elsewhere and am sharing my experience with people...very disappointing.

We went to this restaurant last July while on vacation. The service was so poor...We waited so long for everything and had to ask a few times when our food was coming. After about an hour and 15 minutes the waiter told us there had been an episode in the kitchen, whatever that meant. We had empty wine glasses and... More

Sharing small plate servings with your partner is such a treat. You get to sample several different offerings, all with uniquely different flavours. You can match them all with your wine choice or vice versa. Or you can order the wine flight and have three small samples and then choose from there. They offer several local wines that are not... Great little wine bar (reminds of BIN942 Vancouver) and a nice varied menu. A great place to meet and enjoy the some of the local wines you won't find in the liquor store and because you can still hear your conversation over music! We enjoyed greens, Charcuterie and the Pizza which was a perfect accompaniment to our wines. The atmosphere... More

Terrific open airy decor; awesome artwork including Alex Fung paintings; terrific downtown location at the Sails on Bernard/City park entrance. Very relaxing! The menu is fabulous. 3 of us and we enjoyed sharing some small starters (not so small, very generous) and an awesome gluten free vegan pizza! The Hummus, home made, fabulous. The Nachos are very unique with a... More

We had one of their thin crust pizzas and the curried broccoli & manchego cheese cakes. Both were excellent. The portion sizes weren't huge but we got what we expected for tapas. We sat outside on the street patio and watched the activity across the street in the park and beach. We would stop here again on our next visit... More

Thin crust, beautiful toppings, and amazing flavors. We had the mushroom and salami pizza, it was so good that we ended up ordering another one. The olives weren't quite as good, but again, the pizza more than made up for it. Grab a spot on the patio if you can find one and enjoy the amazing food and wine selection.

Great place for people watching with inventive and tasty food. We stopped for a drink and finished up dining on a succession of small plates while watching the world go by

The Rotten Grape was a great find in Kelowna. What a great way to taste the wines of B.C. while enjoying their delicious tapas menu. Right downtown just off the water the restaurant is nicely decorated, the food and the selection of wine is excellent. We've always had great service and the staff is very knowledgable. Whether with a group... More
