The Grateful Fed opened for business Nov. 1st 2002. We started with a small space but a big vision. The name came from the Grateful Dead, our owners are 'dead heads'. Some of our happy customers call themselves 'fed heads'. Being hippie-like in nature and having some unique pictures on the walls that convey peace and love, gives our patrons a nice warm peaceful easy feeling when they enter the room.

Went for break fast , decent enough. Rating the restaurants

1. Name: I guess it is a nostalgic music place and serves food. 6.5/10 2. Decor: I found this interesting, all the music posters, etc 8/10 3. Ambiance: It is laid back and casual, not to be confused with the Cactus Club Restaurant. 6.5/10 4.Menu: It seemed to have exactly the breakfast I wanted... read more

Great little place. Lunch portions were fair and food was fantastic. The falafel burger is a must try. Staff was friendly and prices were reasonable. I'll have to check them out at night, seems like a place that would have great local music.

I had the Montreal Benny with side of sausage, which I found very good. My wife enjoyed her meal as well. Went on a Sunday at 900am and we were served very quickly. Food was well seasoned, hot, and well presented. Prices were very reasonable and I would go back again.

Came here during the pub hours for great live music. The atmosphere is very chill and its a great place to spend a Friday out, having a drink with friends and listening to tunes. If its the breakfast you're after - the burrito is to die for!!

I had the montreal smoked meat hash with pan fries and eggs. What a great breakfast. Not greasy and the ingredients were fresh and tasty. Service was very good and prices were reasonable. Be prepared to be stuffed! A very good breakfast menu with a lot of choices. Very casual and relaxed place. Ok for people with kids. Neat decor... More

Simply put, food is bland and the service is alright. A little loud on the inside but that's to be expected in a pub that would by its name have a musical theme. Did I mention the washrooms? Dirty and only room for one at a time. Hate to be there on a packed night.....

Read some of the other reviews so was a bit concerned but we were there before the patio opened so everything was clean. The breakfast was really good, service was fast and efficient and the price was right. The place was busy but there were no delays. Our meals were the omelette, peppers and onion wrap with hash browns and... More

Good patio - good staff. Was here for a quick lunch when we arrived in Kelowna from a long drive. I ordered the Febetable sangy... was just OK... my hubby ordered the chicken tabouli wrap which was very flavourful and I had to sneak in a few bites to satisfy my hunger. Service was good though..... a small kitchen, was... More

Restaurant was half empty. Server claimed the poor service was due to the owner's fault not having enough staff on. We saw other's leave as they hadn't been served or attended to. Another waitress dropped cutlery at least 3 times on the ground. Cafe Solei a few doors down beats this place hands down who were unfortunately closed at the... More
