Great location, food and service

The view from the terrace is awesome. It overlooks the vineyards and the lake. Our server was Treena (I think that was the spelling ). She said she had worked there for 10 years and she was terrific. Food was very good I had the prawns and my wife had the sea bass. Both were excellent. I understand... read more

Make a reservation and enjoy. We have been in the past for lunch while visiting but this time we had dinner there. Our waitress Trina was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour and very professional. The menu was excellent and suitable to all tastes and has a couple of GF items. Being a winery they offer recommendations... More

My husband and I got a table here for our anniversary. We booked ahead for an 8pm seating which is their last seating time. Booking ahead was smart because we got a nice table on the edge. Food is expensive but we expected it. Amazing view and amazing wine. Will defanitly hold a special place in our hearts.

This is a great place to take someone you want to impress. Do make reservations even for lunch. All five of us enjoyed our meals and desserts. I really liked my duck confit while others liked the pasta special with seafood and the Saltimbocca Cavatappi pasta. The torte, cheese cake and Romanoff desserts were beautifully presented and were yummy. Their... More

We've tried to eat here 2 years ago without a reservation at8pm. They already closed down so I recommend to call ahead and reserve a table. Today we went there for lunch and ordered the charcuterie, green salad, the duck and pasta with ham (forgot the fancy name). To finish off we had the 3 item dessert. All items are... More

The views from the patio are stunning overlooking vineyard and Okanagon Lake. Server was attentive and provided great service. The duck was a delicious Asian infused dish and not too heavy and the Apple wedge salad with goat cheese was also very good. The salmon, however was not as good - over cooked.

I made a reservation for dinner for 6 of us and was very disappointed. The view was spectacular but for fine dining we expect at least a placemat if not a tablecloth Black wire tables with no place settings more like a fast food restaurant. The waitress was not overly friendly and the awnings were being taken down for the... More

Grey Monk is one of the long established wineries in the valley. The building style is very European and the view from the terrace over the vineyards to the lake reminds us of The Rhone or Rhine valleys. The menu offers fairly classic items, with pairings indicated. We enjoyed the rack of lamb and the steak. There are also some... More

The Gray Monk is a beautiful winery, and the restaurant is a great compliment to the family history. Boasting unique views of Lake Okanagan, the service is diligent and the food is delicious and fresh. The duck confit with spaetzel and braised cabbage was mouth watering. We felt the menu price was extremely reasonable, all things considered. We would happily... More

For those who do not live here, the views are lovely. Hot on the deck, but they have blinds. On to the wine, the one we choose for dinner was not our favorite. What we should have done first was taste a few in the winery as right after dinner we did that and could pick out the right wine!... More
