Very Pleasant Stay

I had been to Roche Lake Resort 15 years ago, and while in the area on a road trip we stopped by. My wife was charmed by the place. Luckily they had a Chalet available, and we really enjoyed the stay. No fishing this time, just short hikes, and really good meals. Sunday brunch was inexpensive... read more

We stayed two nights at this resort on Roche Lake. This is a resort for hard core fishermen. Unfortunately in August the fish were not biting but we managed to kayak around the lake and to go kayaking on the nearby Horseshoe Lake. We ate two meals at the resort and the cook is very good, the food was very... More

Had a fantastic weekend! Neil, Lauren, Russ and Julianne makes us feel so welcome. What a peaceful and scenic spot this place is. They all work so hard to maintain this little piece of Heaven. We did a couple of quad rides and the scenery is breathtaking. We feel so rested. We would highly recommend this spot for camping, a... More

Spent three nights and four days at the Roche Lake Resort fly fishing. We have stayed in a number of fishing resorts in the Interior so have the ability to compare. This place is easily the most expensive cabin/chalet we have ever stayed in. You cannot park your vehicle beside your chalet so it must be parked a distance away... More

The lake is incredible, great fishing and very peaceful. We also very much enjoyed the food at the restaurant and had great service there. The cabins however were not great, the bed in 8B was so uncomfortable I think we will both need to see a massage therapist after that...worst sleep of my life. There was also some mouse feces... We had lunch on the patio here while on our way in to Kamloops. The road in is a well maintained gravel road, in fact a grader was working on the Cananda Day Long Weekend. The sunny patio was really nice, overlooking the lake. We watched some birds and also saw some fish jumping. I had a grilled cheese on... More

I had the great pleasure of joining a large group of friends at Roche Lake Resort this past fall and it was a wonderful vacation away from the everyday grind! First off, the drive to the resort through the Quilchena region is breathtaking, and you feel miles away from your everyday life once you turn down the 12km dirt road... More

My family and I went to Roche lake in January. We had an amazing time skating on the frozen lake, having a bon fire, and quading. The cabins were beautiful and very clean. This resort is a great place to relax. We will defiantly be going back. Thanks to the owners for their hospitality.

I discovered Roche Lake Resort by accident one day while out quadding. Reluctantly, my Dad and I walked into the restaurant and were immediately greeted and made to feel at home. We sat down, had our orders taken, and were genuinely impressed the the food and decor. This was a great place. Later, Lauren came over to introduce herself and... More

Thank you Lauren and Neil for your gracious hospitality. All your caring and hard work really show in the wonderful experiences you have helped create for my family and myself. Physically the resort has never looked better and the atmosphere is so warm and friendly. My family and I look forward to many more vacations with you over the coming... More
