Appreciated the food but was late for my meeting

It was very obvious that this place takes the time to prepare things right and uses fresh ingredients. My sunomono salad was one of a kind. I wish I could have gotten my food sooner as it took about 40 minutes. Other then that my service was friendly and food great.

When I am working in Kamloops, my go to lunch place is Sanbiki's. I particularly like their Gyoza and their Sunomono salad. In the winter, you can't beat the Udon soups. The service is fast and efficient. If I phone ahead, they are even faster and make me feel special when I arrive. Its great for people who have tight... More

My wife and I were here on a tour, we had eaten at the Frick & Frack and wanted something to bring with us on the tour bus next morning (No breakfast provided at the hotel). Not sure of the restaurant, since we had never been in this city before, we decided to play it safe and ordered California Roll... More

We had not tried this restaurant for sushi before. We generally go to a small restaurant across the street but they happened to be closed for vacation so we went to Sanbiki. Service was a bit slow but the california rolls were delicious. My wife enjoyed her vegetable tempura. We certainly will not hesitate to go back.

Haven't eaten here for a few years and won't return. While the tuna roll was tasty, the rest of our food was pretty ho-hum. Two of the dishes we ordered weren't available and we were charged a higher price for a substitution that was required as a result. Service was just plain awful. There appeared to be one server plus... More

Was not disappointed by any means on this trip into Sanbiki. The tuna main with ponzu was great. The salmon sashimi was just as good. Very nice texture. May have been slightly smoked. Very good. Had some of the standard fare sushi and felt it was good. The spicy ramen stood out slightly above the rest in this meal. Would... More

Unassuming spot tucked in a corner next to a night club. When you walk in you first see the grocery store of the place, with a lot of great stuff including prepared foods for take out. In the back room is the sit down restaurant area. Simple decor, but the food was incredible as was the service. During our stay... More

My wife and I had been here before, we'd visited this restaurant several times together and with our children and the sushi was especially good. We recommended it to all our friends. The last time I went, I stopped in by myself for lunch. First off, I was surprised by the clutter and little piles of stuff in what had... More

What a wonderful find and a great start to a new year! I have a family of Koreans who are very particular about their Japanese food and they are wanting to travel back to Kamloops from Edmonton just for the food! Everything tasted amazing! The udon was fantastic and the miso ramen was apparently the way it is supposed to... More

Sanbiki used to be decent but went today...on my birthday AND the food was the cheapest possible in their bento box, Extra for miso soup, no fish, lots of pork on the menu but then noon hour menu had very little fish. service was poor, restraunt was cold. will not be going back
