Great experience

Me and my wife travelled for one month through British Columbia and Alberta, then the day before coming back to Vancouver (to get fly to come home) we went to this place. It was a wonderful experience, the fish were very fresh and delicious, i rembember well their wild salmon and the tempura... we... read more

Unassuming spot tucked in a corner next to a night club. When you walk in you first see the grocery store of the place, with a lot of great stuff including prepared foods for take out. In the back room is the sit down restaurant area. Simple decor, but the food was incredible as was the service. During our stay... More

My wife and I had been here before, we'd visited this restaurant several times together and with our children and the sushi was especially good. We recommended it to all our friends. The last time I went, I stopped in by myself for lunch. First off, I was surprised by the clutter and little piles of stuff in what had... More

What a wonderful find and a great start to a new year! I have a family of Koreans who are very particular about their Japanese food and they are wanting to travel back to Kamloops from Edmonton just for the food! Everything tasted amazing! The udon was fantastic and the miso ramen was apparently the way it is supposed to... More

Great food and great service! They recently started doing ramen so had to try it out - mmmmmm....nice and hot yummy noodle goodness, steaming in a delish broth! One of our favourite restaurants in Kamloops for sure (we've lived here for 7yrs+). Bento boxes are great too (the better half usually orders the veg bento boxes and usually cleans up... More

We have eaten here a few times now and our experience has been a real hit and miss. Our first meal was very good, all fresh ingredient and nicely presented. The last couple of times the sushi has been off, especially the negitoro roll. It tastes stale as if it's been sitting out for a while. It simply could have... More

This is one of the best Japanese restaurants in Kamloops. The food is always fresh and well presented. The service is good (Japanese-style so quite reserved), and there is an excellent selection of sushi and other dishes. Highly recommended.

I ordered a sashimi bento box for lunch, and it came with very small pieces of sashimi and only 5 at that. It felt a little light given the price. Also, the salad and ....tempura??! We're not great. In fact, I think the tempura has been previously deep fried. The salad was 2 pieces of limp lettuce. The fish itself... More

The Sanbiki restaurant is - in my opinion - the go to place for Japanese cuisine in Kamloops, B.C. When you enter the place there are wooden tables with wooden chairs and nothing fancy about the decor. A simple place with great food. The 2 times I went there I had the miso ramen - the first time with a... More
