We visited the above restaurant after reading some of the reviews and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is located in an old house, down town Kamloops. It has about 50 seat. Our server was very friendly and efficient. We had the farm duck breast and the roast pork special. both were well presented, hot and tasty. We picked a Chilean Cabernet... More

Lovely room in an old building that previously housed a bank. The appy plate was a good choice with four different choices big enough to share for two. Mussles were otherwise good too but too big to my taste.

We decided to visit the Brownstone Restaurant after researching it on TA during our one night stopover in Kamloops. We were staying on Tranquille so it took us some 15minutes to reach central downtown. It was worth it. Situated in an old brownstone building - once a bank - the interior is cosy yet spacious. Modern decor and chalkboards complete... More

Our evening meal in this restaurant was very enjoyable and the location was simple and historic. The meal was excellent, service was alos very good and a special thanks to management for fitting us in without a reservation.

A clean plate is the international sign that the diner has enjoyed the meal. We have ate at this Resturant on both occasions as we we stopped at Kamloops as we travelled between Vancouver and the Rockies where we stayed for a week. On both occasions we left clean plates!!! The quality of the food is very good. All the... More

The Brownstone Restaurant is located in central downtown of Kamloops. It is located in an old historic brownstone building. The interior decor feature wood floors a 14 foot tin ceiling and bold red painted wall. They feature a fresh food. I had the Halibut which was prepared with fennel , butter and wine sauce. Probably one of the best pieces... More

This restaurant was on the high list and we must try it. Well, the staff and setting was perfect, however, the main we ordered were not quite up to our expectation. The halibut was overlooked, the lamb was a bit chewy. The feature wine: La posta Tinto from Argentina was very good.

Service and food was amazing. Trains were very close and loud, but I think that's part of the charm.

We had the beet salad and the trout and a lovely bottle of wine. Great food and service, we would definitely go back. Sit outside if the weather allows.

We once again enjoyed a wonderful dinner in this cozy and elegant little restaurant. Everything was great right down to the tasty Dessert Sample we shared. We were travelling and chose Kamloops to spend the night just so we could visit the Brownstone one more time. Loved it as much as the first time!
