Surprisingly Disappointed......

My parents and us went to Black Forest last weekend. It was super busy even at 3:34 pm! Guess the Host was overwhelmed too! Anyways, I ordered Rouladen with spaetzle, red cabbage My father had Schneitzel with potatoes, etc. Mother had Schneitzel, etc. He had Schneitzel, etc. Well, I was... read more

My husband and I stopped by on a rainy but very busy Saturday night. When we arrived the host asked if we had reservations. Sadly we did not but he didn't bat an eye. After taking our coats we were promptly seated. The cliental ranged from every age and every nationality. All patrons appear to be having a great time.... More

We had dinner here on a Wed. night when the special was the Schnitzels. My husband and I both had Schnitzel Pacific. It was absolutely delicious and the helping was huge. I've never had schnitzel that compares to this meal. My only recommendation would be to provide a piece of toasted bread with the escargot. The meal was very well-priced.... More

If you like schnitzel, this is the place for you! My husband ate the Rindel Rouladen and said it melted in your mouth and was amazing. Eat lightly if you want desert, as the portions are very generous. The bread was one of the best, not sure how someone in another review could write "stale"....it was crisp, which it was... More

We definitely didn't leave hungry. We were served right away (Saturday night in late March). This seemed like the busiest place around town. I was put off though, at the speed in which our meal came. It was far too fast. We sat down, got waters, they took our order, brought us bread and then our meal came. Probably all... More

We were lured into this place by a cheap menu they have outside on the fence, just to discover "server words" that menu outside was only seasonal. I wondered why they have it then outside? food was unseasoned, bread was stale very bad experience. I am not coming back again

The flavor was awesome so good! we tried the combination and the pork hocks . The servings were huge and but the flavor and quality was very very good. I will visit this restaurant again and hope they expand and make one in Osoyoos.

Our whole family went for dinner here. They set up a nice long table for us. The food was excellent. The staff was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. They brought out a slice of Black Forest cake with a candle, which was delicious, for our grandson's birthday.

Server was very friendly and helpful. The Goulash was smoky, hot and very complex - highly recommend having this appetizer. It is advisable to order the traditional Schnitzel. German beer was very enjoyable and refreshing.

We decided to have dinner here after my husband inquired about GF options. My daughter (a celiac) had the GF schnitzel and love it! The portions are huge - so come hungry. The homemade bratwurst is excellent. The place was extremely busy on a Saturday night and the service was slow, but we didn't mind. The restaurant is undergoing some... More
