We were excited to eat here as we are new parents and hardly get to eat out alone nowadays. We made reservations for 6:00 pm. We came and were told by the owner that he had no idea what we were talking about. He also said that a reservation gets you "through the door" but not a guaranteed table. It... More

We were very excited when we heard we had a new Thai restaurant in the Cariboo and couldn't wait to try it out! We had heard good reviews about the food so off we went. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was indeed very good. The only thing was we thought for what you... More

A regular stop whenever I was in the area. The food was delicious and the patio was unbeatable on a sunny day. I was disappointed to find it long gone, this May long weekend, and another restaurant in its place.

This restaurant has moved up to the Interlakes region of the Cariboo (highway 24 near Sheridan Lake BC) and are we glad they did. I have been there twice and on both occasions the food and service were excellent. They greet you will a cup of hot tea and a menu that is a treasure chest of food delights. Take... More

We stopped in at Sunyam Thai Restaurant en route between the Interlakes Region and Kamloops. It is truly a gem. We have had Tom Ka Gai soup in cities from NYC to Vancouver and found theirs to surpass all. The spring rolls were outstandingly good as well. After the meal our kids enjoyed a 'familiarization with Thailand" tour, learning about... More

This is NOT a Thai restaurant! Even if it wants to call itself one, the food is not. First of all, the main ingredient in Pad See Ew is soy sauce, not fish sauce. Secondly, Thai food should have SOME heat & flavour, no? Pad Thai was bland, just awful. Prices here would suggest a decent serving plus quality food.... More

We enjoyed the food but the wait was excruciatingly long. It was around 40-minutes. By the time we go the food, we snarfed it down so we could get to our next event.

It was a bit of a gamble booking this restaurant, but it paid off in spades. The menu was varied the food excellent, freshly prepared and so tasty, and the service first class. A great outlook from the patio over the lake! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys Asian food.

This was the second time we have eaten here and I highly recommend the food. We usually do a visit once a year to Harrison and from now on we will also be returning for dinner to the restaurant. Owners are very laid back and friendly
