My sister brought me here for a belated birthday breakfast. It was packed, but well worth cramming ourselves into a corner. It was very yummy!

When I lived in Langley, Wendel's was a regular breakfast and lunch spot for my family and I. They have great gluten free meal options, as well as a cooler full of desserts! Their pies are yummy and the nanaimo bars are too. There is often a line up out the door but it is worth the wait! The food... More

Had it not been for other reviews, I might have passed this place up. Walked in and the line up was to the door. Good sign. It's a small spot with not a lot of seating and what there is is a bit crowded. There is seating outside if you are lucky enough to grab one. We were. It was... More

This is probably my favourite place in Langley to have breakfast or lunch, especially in the summer when you can sit outside and people watch. The food is excellent. There is always a long line up, but that is just expected because so many people now know how great this place is! We always stop here after a walk or... More

First time at this eatery, suggested by our son & daughter in-law, to give it a try and we were very pleased with our experience! You need to have good timing to located a table outside (on a nice day), the procedure is to place your order at the main counter & you will receive a wooden block with an... More

I ride my motorcycle here regularly for their breakfast, it is always good and the servers are very friendly. The food is always fresh and tasty and they serve good coffee. It is a great location to sit outside and people watch

Friendly place with good drinks etc at reasonable prices. Can get busy on Sundays when there is normally a queue and lack of seating. The bookshop is interesting to look round. I like it as it has a family run atmosphere.

We had dinner at Wendels after a Fort to Fort Walk. All three of us had lemonade (delicious, tasted homemade and not too sweet) plus entree and dessert. From the quinoa and roasted yam salad, to the chicken burger on a pretzel bun, to the cilantro chicken wrap, we were hugely impressed. Very fresh, lovingly prepared and great portions. The... More

I've been going to this bookstore/cafe for years while my kids trained on the adjacent waterway for their paddling club. I fell in love with the place immediately. The book store is small, but it has some classic novels for sale. The food is exceptional as are the hot and cold drinks. I love the ambiance, the busy feel to... More
