This restaurant was recommended by the hosts of the B&B where we stayed. We were not disappointed. The service was excellent and personable. The fig and goat cheese salad was delectable. We also enjoyed the chicken breast dinner, crab cakes, the caesar salad and a delicious glass of local wine. We should have passed on dessert as it was just... More

calamari was the most tender I have ever had, and the burger was delicious with excellent fries. Our server was outstanding, prompt, efficient and courteous and a great sense of humour. He is always the same, whenever we go.

Have eaten there many times. Not disappointed yet. good service but kind of pricey. They want me to say more but I think i've said enough. My review reflects their quality not quantity.

Had lunch here as a couple on a sunny summer day. Nice setting on the deck over the water. Waitress was prompt and attentive. Unfortunately, I found the seafood pasta special to be bland and uninteresting. I would go again but try another menu item.

While cruising about the Gulf Islands in Canada on our US sailboat, we heard many, many times---you must dine at Genoa Bay Café, it''s worth the stop in the tiny area. Not only was it worth it, it surpassed any expectation we had. So on a lovely August evening, we took the ferry shuttle from Cowichan Bay to Genoa Bay.... More

Lovely setting although in August it got cold on the terrace early as the sun dropped behind the mountain. However the food was pricey and not all that exciting - my lamb did not have much taste, and our shared dessert was basically fruit sauce and whipped cream in a sundae glass - could have done that at home !... After a nice country drive we were treated to an excellent lunch. We sat on the outside deck overlooking the Genoa Bay marina. The servers were pleasant and knowledgeable. Very attentive without hovering. The meal was superb and the presentation wonderful. The Genoa Bay Café is definitely added to our places to return to.

We went for a beautiful drive to Maple Bay, then headed on a small country road that ended in Genoa Bay. Beautiful scenery, boat moorage, surrounded by green hills. In the midst of all this Beauty, is the Genoa Bay Cafe. We decided to stop for a bite to eat. Do not let the outside of its small presence fool... More

By far, the highlight of our 10 day boating trip in the Gulf Islands was our stop at Genoa Bay and dinner and nightcap at the Genoa Bay Cafe. We were glad we had made reservations as the place was packed even midweek. The Coconut Green Curry Mussels were the best we've ever had anywhere and the Seafood Fettucine was... More
