After a lovely drive you arrive a real west coast experience. A rustic looking building over looking the small bay full of boats. Truly picturesque, and the food is great too! Casual but the menu is interesting and with something for everyone. Leave room for the wonderful desserts. We always make sure to go there with visitors to the island.

The staff are very nice and obliging. Food is good but a little "pricey". Lovely location but off the beaten path unless you arrive by boat.

Dined at lunch with a group reservation of 10. The staff was not willing to even attempt to accommodate the group to move the tables to sit together or order together. We were all disappointed at the lack of consideration. It was possible as it had been done in the past. Cuisine is average at best. Some dishes left largely... More

A part of me doesn't want to make a review because it means more people will go there it's a secret little place that locals go. We move back to the island eight years ago and we go back to this place probably twice a year it's spectacular. Food is always hot very tasty and the service impeccable

We've been a couple of times under their current ownership although, as the operator described, they've had a number of chefs come and go. The menu appears quite promising - and they have an interesting offer which essentially provides any two entrees plus one starter to share plus one dessert to share (frankly, that's anticipating quite nicely what we'd do... After a brutal hike on a nearby mountain, exhausted, dehydrated and wet, we stopped at this somewhat off the beaten track-off the wall café on the Bay. My daughter asked for mint tea; no problem. My son-in-law asked for hot chocolate; no problem. I wanted a beer and some Salt Spring Island mussels; no problem. Good food, good service and... More

We have wanted to try Genoa Bay Cafe for a while and finally made it out there, the road is a bit windy but scenic and the bay itself if very picturesque. The restaurant is set beside the marina and you can see herons and kingfishers from the windows. It was a bit cool for the patio but it would... More

The road into Genoa Bay is 8 k of meandering road through meadows, farms and bays. This is the cutiest little Cafe bar none. Right on the water of Genoa Bay. Stacy and Gord greet you at the door and the service never stops. The food is fantastic and well presented. This is a place where I take my seniors... More

We love this restaurant. Take a stroll to drool over the yachts in the marina after enjoying the wonderful food, friendly atmosphere, and the gorgeous and tranquil waterfront scene.

It was the day after Valentines and my wife and I had the afternoon free since our daughter was at a play date. The rain was falling and the restaurant was pretty quiet ( exactly what we love ). We had a great seat surrounded by windows and enjoyed a delicious lunch cooked by Chef Dustin. Thank you for the... More
