Awesome Cafe in Duncan

Thanks to TripAdvisor, we had a great breakfast at this family owed cafe while passing through Duncan. The omelettes were great as was the service & the decor.

If you are in Duncan, this is a great little diner! Whenever I am in town I make sure to stop there for lunch. The food is great and the staff are friendly. The place is always packed so you know it's the place to be!

After reading a few of the other reviews, and being a local that loves going out for breakfast, I thought we would finally stop in. I liked the layout, the service was friendly but the food was a disaster...both had combo of eggs, bacon, sausages, pancakes and some sort of cardboard soggy hash...it was as if everything had been frozen... This is an ugly tacky old cafe with really good food. Every time we are in Duncan it's the first place we hit.

This is comfort food at its finest. We have never been disapointed in the food or the service. The hamburgers are soooo good and real homemade fries. We have also enjoyed the sandwiches and the curry.

So if you are looking for the locals hangout that has good food and a great following this is it. Lots of Sandwich selection on about 5 kinds of bread. Great curry, homemade desserts, good coffee, daily specials and a funky vibe. Oh and really great prices!

Arbutus, as described by several other reviews, does feel a little like a throw-back to hippie days--but it's quite nice inside and has a good outside seating area as well. I went for breakfast. The menu isn't extensive, but the food is good. I'd actually rate it a little better than the average diner breakfast.

Situated just off the main strip on the corner is the unassuming Arbutus Cafe. Quirkily decorated with clients artistic offerings on napkins and some unique local art, this is a superb eatery. Brilliant burgers, fabulous fries and scrumptious salads. All freshly prepared and served by helpful welcoming staff. What a find!

The sandwiches here are good, french fries good, curry sauce dip is good. Stay away from their stir-fries, not very tasty at all. Staff are super super friendly, interesting wall art, worth a visit. Try a BLT with fries you won't go wrong
