The Bay Leaf was a great buffet style East Indian restaurant. The perfect place for those who wanted to try different dishes. However it has now closed down.

Been here a few times.. it's a averagely decent place.. food is reasonable tasting and prices are to be expected. Good if you want to take your kids out for something half way decent and not get raped with the bill.

We were very reluctant to try this restaurant after reading the previous reviews, but it was an overall vey good experience. The buffet was fresh and hot (temperature- wise) and there was a large variety of Indian foods and sauces. Restaurant was clean with a relaxed atmosphere and service was excellent. Definitely worth a try.

was in the Chilliwack area and this was the only indo Canadian restaurant open on a Monday as the their competitor (wont name but have eaten there many times) was closed. Placed a very simple order of paneer pakora, vegie korma, and curry chicken with a vegie basmati rice. None of the ingredients tasted fresh so its obvious they use... More

Subsequent visits to Bay Leaf have not been great - food has not been great, really lacking flavour - although the service has been better. The buffet seems to have much less than it did before, especially the vegetarian dishes that you would expect to see. We've never ordered off the menu, the buffet was always the draw.

We have ordered off of the menu as well as partaken in the buffet - both were wonderful! The prices are affordable and you get enough food as well. Would highly recommend the chicken dish they serve as a special - just the right taste of Indian. The restaurant isn't very fancy, but it is private enough with the booths... More

Great service but we are all waiting to see what might come of eating here. All was well, but won't return.
