Open since 2009 this delightful cafe / coffee & tea house serves great food prepared in house by their Red Seal Chef, Brice O'Neill. The food is exceptional. They even roast REAL turkey. Try a bowl of delicious fresh, made from scratch soup or a slice of incredible Cheesecake. Relaxed atmosphere, full service seating, friendly, personalized service. Reasonable prices. Very tasty house raspberry vinaigrette. Open for breakfast & lunch six days per week. Closed on Sundays & statutory holidays.

Please, only 2 hr parking here.

Well as usual, chef O'Neill blew us out of the water with his soup and sandwich special. His soups are from another world, unreal. The sandwiches are huge, you wont go away hungry. Living in Williams Lake it can be hard to find a place that has good food and is gluten free. New world has both! I love coming here for lunch and having a great sandwich and soup or for breakfast. They are very accommodating when it comes to making a gluten free meal and I am always 100% happy with... More

I find it unacceptable to go into an establishment and be treated as though I am bothering the staff to hand over my money for service. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else. I wish I could put a minus rating.

After 26 years of experiencing restaurants and cafes in Williams Lake, I have finally found a bistro that I want to return to. The cappuccino is the best in town, the tea selection, amazing. The chef puts together an interesting and succulent menu, exploring dishes with more imagination and creativity than I have experienced any where else in Williams Lake,... More

I always get the impression Williams Lake doesn’t care for outsiders, like it keeps all its best aspects close to the metaphorical chest. Maybe this is due to how the highway snakes through the city, on the outer edge, taking a sharp turn away from the city’s heart. It reminded me of that town in First Blood, the one drifters... More

If you haven't tried the borscht-you need to! Every meal I have enjoyed here has been tasty, filling and homemade. I love heading here with friends for an afternoon tea or a lunch catch up. The atmosphere is inviting, the tea choices seemingly endless and the food is divine! And for date night, we have checked out their 'evening at... More

Have been to the New World Cafe twice since they started doing dinner service. We thought the food was very tasty, very well presented and a veried menu. The service was awesome and they set the tables very nicely for dinner. The last time we were there friends were with us and they loved their food also. Going again this... More

We were surprised they offered dinner and weren't sure what to expect from a cafe, but we enjoyed it! The mango chicken penne special and falafel appetizer were delicious. The service was friendly and courteous. We will definitely stop there next time we are in Williams Lake.

Food is always fresh, of the home-cooked variety and served with enthusiasm. Nice atmosphere with great deco. There are also a few tables outside if you wish to take in the comings and goings on Oliver Street. Excellent tea selection and the desserts ... the desserts ... you must try them!
