We were visiting friends in Mission and WE suggested an evening with live music at The Historic Dewdney Pub (AKA "Church of the Blues"....). So how did we know? Our hosts at the lovely Cascade Falls B&B (Reviewed by me separately) told us about it. They also mentioned that there is live music at the pub on Saturdays and Sundays,... More

This is the place to go for the best Sunday jam. The staff are pretty friendly and the atmosphere is great on a Sunday. The food is pretty average pub fare as are the drink prices. Definitely a must do if you are a blues fan.

I stop by this pub almost every time I travel through Mission. I always order standard pub fare and have never been disappointed. They use fresh ingredients and real cheese on their burgers, which I find increasingly difficult to get nowadays. As always, I never leave hungry. The service is good and the staff is friendly . The regulars are... More

My wife and I just moved into this area, and I was concerned about this place on account of the couple who individually wrote reviews on their overcooked steak. We were really pleasantly surprised. We ordered standard pub fare, my wife had their mozzarella/mushroom burger and fries and I had their special of the day which was chicken breast burger... More

Went here for a second time. Steak was ordered Med rare - totally overcooked without any pink at all. Waited for over a hour after ordering. Friends was not too bad so decided to try again. Even worse than the first time. Both steaks were totally overdone, complained, waited almost half hour. The remaider of the meals were completed when... More

Went here for the first time a few weeks ago. My friends and I had the steak and prawn special. We all ordered medium rare steaks. My friends steaks were looked great but mine was well done. I didn't complain and just ate it. I thought my previous meal was just bad luck, so we tried it again last night.... More

Driving back from Harrison Hot Springs to Vancouver on a Sunday morning, we decided to stay north of the Fraser and stick to back roads when we could. It was a great plan, except that we were getting pretty hungry and with no obvious place to stop for lunch. When we got to Dewdney, we asked a local whether to... More
