Great Meal

Stopped in to have lunch and ordered the Hamburger Steak. Wow what a big meal. It took all I could do finish everything. The service was good and very pleasant. The price was good for the amount of food you got. Mashed Potatoes, gravy and corn. bread and coffee.

several of my friends do lunch here at least once a month, food is always good, service is amazing and you don't feel rushed to finish your meal and staff is very attentive!

Although the food and service was good, the prices are certainly high enough to discourage us from a repeat visit.

This seems to be the top choice for breakfast in red deer. We have been regulars for years. I notice the quality is slipping....we enjoy their nice crisp shredded hash browns (doesn't everyone?), this time they were soggy in a pool of oil. I ordered over medium eggs, I got over easy, and how can you be out of raspberry... More

I've eaten here many times. Love the flexibility to get half cubed and half shredded hashbrowns! Eggs benny is my fav. That said, the past two times I have been in, things have been super oily or over-cooked.... Hoping things get back on track.

I'll start positive, the coffee is good and strong and comes with your own thermos (also makes the waitresses job easier). However, the food is fit for a senior home with dentures or no teeth. I ordered a quesadilla, pretty standard I'd think. This was full of boiled mixed veggies - mostly cauliflower. Eeeew. So soggy it was almost inedible.... More

A friend and I just finished having breakfast at Phils. As always food and service is top notch. We went a little earlier than uaual which made a difference in atmosphere it was nice and relaxing not as busy as it can be sometimes later in the morning.

The aged building looks like it may have been a Smitty's at some point in the past. While the menu offers plenty of choice, the quality for me was just average. Service came with a smile and light conversation. Stopping here for a quick meal would not be the worst choice you could make.

Have been for Breakfast and Lunch and the service is top notch, go for breakfast a few times a week and is a weekly stop for most of my family. Have not had supper there but if the food at breakfast and lunch is any indication I am sure supper would be good also.

Absolutely disgusting Eggs Benedict. The sauce was unrecognisable (translucent and grey). The staff was friendly but didn't come back to the table once our food was served. We left without eating our food (other than the toast). Should have been an indicator, but no one asked.
