Delicious! A throwback to Willys

If you remember Willys hamburgers around Alberta through the 80s and 90s well burger boy is in one of their old locations and serve a very similar menu Very tasty burgers, so good we went there twice in a weekend. Spicy fries not really spicy but basically crispy curly fries, very good as well... read more

Why 9$ for 6 pieces of small deep fried mushrooms?? Rip off!!! One size poutine for $8!! Money grab!!:( Burgers are good but too pricey!! Shakes are good. Any extra ranch package is 75 cents more!! Lol Terrible pricing!!! It's not fun to eat while u know u just got screwed!!

Homemade burgers, large menu, homemade fries. No drive-thru and the restaurant could use new upholstery on their chairs and repairs on their tables.

This used to be my absolute favourite burger joint when I lived in Red Deer a few years ago, however, from the last 2 times I've been back, I have changed my decision drastically. It still takes forever and a day to get your food (so you'd think it'd be fresh, right?!) but sadly, it's been disgusting. Yesterday we had... More

Nothing fancy, but clean, friendly, and busy. The food is always delicious, hot, and well prepared. They have a broader menu than most chain fast food restaurants and it is prepared to order so always fresh. Love their battered mushrooms, their giant french fries, and their quirky milkshake combinations. The staff is terrific. It is counter order but they deliver... More

I like burger boy but considering they're in a low income part of town and they're just a burger joint they charge way too much. The staff can be very unorganized and sometimes it can take forever to go food. The food isn't always consistent-stale buns or fries sometimes the milkshakes are basically melted and sometimes they're super thick. I... More

This place was recommended to me by a coworker. I tried the burger, fries, and battered mushrooms. They were all excellent! Lots of flavor. My husband had the texas fried chicken. He said the chicken was excellent as well. His fires were a little greasy though sitting in the box. Food is great but I would recommend either delivery or... More

We live quite a ways outside of Red Deer, but we come at least once a year just to enjoy a relaxing breakfast here. From other reviews I notice burgers and milkshakes are good, but I haven't made it past the "Big Breakfast Meal" yet, because it is worth coming back for.

A small local burger joint off the main drags, but well worth a visit. The Burgers here are really delicious and there are many to choose from and try out in subsequent visits. The milkshakes are the BEST... also with a wonderful variety of flavours to make choosing just one a challenge!
