The donut in question was fried to long which made it stiff and hard to chew so on my way back through I took it back and they replaced it stating that it was fried to long. No big deal. Overall good donuts that beat Tim's.

We had lunch here today- both of us had chilli in a sourdough bread bowl- terrific!! We finished off our meal with donuts and coffee. The service was fast and quick- can't beat that. Lunch for the two of us, including donuts and coffee was around $25.

Love to go here with my child. He loves the toy pinwheels you can buy for about $2. The donuts are amazing and homemade. The other menu is pretty good too (Soups, Stew, buns, etc.)

Lunch at Glenn's... Donuts and coffee for the road... This is a must stop between Calgary and Edmonton.

I only had the donuts, but they were great. Lots of choices and friendly staff. 1.50$ a donut is more than Tim's but The Donut Mill tastes better (like they are maybe from scratch).

I went to the Donut Mill for the first time last weekend and it did not disappoint. It was recommended by friends and I'm glad they shared this gem. We only got donuts, a half dozen. The apple fritter wasn't amazing, but it was good, but the other five donuts were spectacular. Best donuts I've had in recent memory. The... More

We make the trip from Edmonton to Calgary fairly often and usually stop at Costco in red deer for our bathroom break and a snack. This last trip I wanted to try the donut mill. My tuna salad sandwich was average. Too much filling for my liking making it a bit soggy. The beef stew wasn't bad but the bread... More

So the first thing that caught my eye was the giant windmill as I was pulling into Red Deer. The second thing that caught my eye was the word donut. I had to stop and I'm glad I did. I had a delicious chicken salad sandwich, donut and drink for under $10.00, the sandwichwas on homemade bread and was so... More

Seriously the title says it all. They make the donuts available at Tim Horton's look terrible in comparison. Which, indeed, they are. This is the only place I eat donuts.
