Amazing Donuts, Horrible Coffee

Stopped here (on recommendation) on a road trip. It was cute, with the big windmill outside, and their selection of donuts was incredible. We were really craving coffee, and had to try the donuts to go with it. We tried the old-fashioned coconut, chocolate glaze, and boston creme. I'm not... read more

I don't like the ambience, it is a just so-so donut shop. Coffee is lousy. The Donuts are expensive but then, where are they not expensive. Considering what goes into a Donut, they shoul be cheap. But sometimes when you just need a little bite to eat we stop there and then say" never again".

We have been at this place several times and it is always good. It has a very diverse donut offer, the sizes are also bigger than the average. Donut and coffee perfect!

Donut Mill is one place we always stop at while in Red Deer or driving through. We always look forward to their fresh donuts and unique flavors. We stopped this time and were not as impressed as previous visits. The rolo donut tasted nothing like rolo; however, the venetian donuts were incredibly yummy.

It's not that the were terrible donuts, they weren't. They just paled in comparison to another place we went on our trip. Kind of dry and not lots of filling.

We normally stop for the worlds best donuts, but the last time we stopped for supper. The stew, kids pizza and sandwiches were awesome. All home made and tasted great. Prices were reasonable for good quality food. the donuts here are the best I've ever had, and Im picky when it comes to donuts. We never pass the Donut Mill... More

We stop at Donut Mill anytime we drive from Edmonton to Calgary. My husband claims that their maple dip donut is the best he's ever had, my daughter prefers the old fashioned glaze. My favorite part is their BLT. BLT on fresh multigrain bread with cheddar cheese and green peppers. Yum. Everyone else orders egg salad on the softest white... More
