When you are called the prime rib house, it better be good, and it was! Good prices, great simple delicious food, good location. Atmosphere is a bit dated and loads of tourists seem to funnel through her by the bus load. But ignore that and just enjoy the Alberta beef!

We come skiing to Jasper every spring break and every year I look forward to our meal here! The prime rib is always cooked to perfection. I've had prime rib at many restaurants in Edmonton, but none as good as this place! The service is always good too.

The food and service was fantastic. Great flavors. I had the chicken Parmesan and the chicken breast was a large portion, cooked perfectly was moist and flavourful. My husband and mother in law had the steak, and it was cooked perfectly. The menu had limited items, and it's a little one tge expensive side, but if you're like me I... More

We stayed at the Tonquin hotel and decided to eat at the restaurant attached to the hotel. The restaurant has no affiliation to the hotel. We were seated next to the window and were told this was to give the illusion that the restaurant was busy. They had plenty to choose from on the menu and the loaves of complimentary... More

Stayed at the Tonquin Inn so this was the first pub we hit. The beer was flat and they automatically put on a 15% gratuity on the bill. I did not eat here, so cannot comment on the food. I'm not a big fan of places that automatically add the gratuity. The service was good though, the waitress pleasant, but... More

I had the shrimp cocktail and the house salad with raspberry vinagerette dressing and my husband had seafood over noodles and they both were very tasty and filling in size. Very good service in a timely manner for a reasonable price.

My hubby and I struggled to find a place to eat in town. I'm pregnant and have a but allergy so fancy food (underdone meats with sauces that likely have raw egg and nuts on everything) was almost not an option but we still wanted to go somewhere nice. We settled on the prime rib village because its looked fancy... More

We keep returning every time we are in Jasper for the prime rib of beef. The beef is cooked salt encrusted and served au jus, with daily vegetables and baked potato (no yorkshire) although you can get it with either rice or fries instead. The beef is always on the rarer side a notch so increase the degree of done... More

We ate here during our stay in Jasper and it was AMAZING! Not only did the employees treat us and everyone else like we were all VIPS, but the food was heaven. I've never had such great, friendly, and attentive service before. Plus, it's not all that expensive. We got the prime rib and it was probably the best I've... More
