This is an off the beaten path restaurant about 5 minutes south of Jasper. The ambiance is relaxed and non pretentious. The staff are super friendly and courteous. And the food is definitely something to write home about! We started off with some amuse Boucher courtesy if the chef- grilled cheese sandwich with tomato bisque... Boy did it set a... More

Let's see ... writing this a month later ... my husband ordered a bison appetizer (I believe) and a bowl of soup and said it was one of the best meals he had ever had. The soup was outstanding, the sauces were amazing. They accommodated our gluten-free son with GF bread when the bread was served. I don't believe they... More

We had a very nice dinner here to celebrate our final night in Jasper, and the restaurant did not disappoint. The Alberta beef was quite good, and the desserts were very tasty. The setting was quiet and tasteful, and the service was attentive.

We've never taken pictures of our dinner plates until this meal. The food looked so beautiful it was a shame to eat it! But eat it we did and it was fantastic - in fact we ate WAY too much it was so delicious. Our favorites were the spiny lobster roll, salmon trio appetizer, the beef filet and the rack... More

Entering the properly was a little unnerving as it looked like just a complex of little bungalows. But a short way in we saw the restaurant which looked like a big house. We had reservations for 6:30 so there weren’t many guests yet. It didn’t take long after that though and the place was filled up. Every part of our... More

We ended up dining here three times in our 7 days in Jasper. We love the setting and on two nights were able to dine outside. We particularly enjoyed the salmon trio appetizer, a great salad with forest berries, the chicken is done perfectly, as are the spiny lobster rolls, and tofu. The service and atmosphere are top notch. The... More

Driving past a camp ground, we saw this lodge that did not look spectacular. We thought about not going in. Thank goodness we did! This was one of the best meals on our trip. The food was different and delicious. The staff was great as well. We sat on the deck, had a bottle of wine, and relaxed with a... More

My couple and I were traveling in BC and Alberta for two weeks and this was the best restaurant where we had dinner during this period. The location is great, and nearby you can enjoyed a great view of the Athabasca river. But the most impressive thing here is the food. As appetizer we ordered the wild salmon trio and... More

a first class restaurant, about a mile outside of downtown Jasper. My wife and I fully enjoyed our dinners, though we thought the food and value at The Raven Bistro (which we absolutely loved) were better. Tekarra has an interesting and varied menu and the service was excellent. The experience was fairly intimate, in spite of the large dining room.
