Tired of the restaurants, located in Jasper's "Tourist Downtown",that mainly cater to tourists with credit cards, that have high or no credit limits, then drive over to the west end of Jasper,to 701 Connaught Drive, where you will find the diner-style "Bright Spot Family Restaurant",attached to a PetroCanada gas station. This is the kind of nondescript restaurant, that you will find in most small towns of... We went here for a better breakfast than the free continental breakfast at our hotel. We were happy with the food and the service. It is your basic breakfast place and they make excellent french toast.

Even restaurant owners go to the bright spot for breakfast. Well run, family affair. Great food. And the chef makes a great gravy

Is a must go attraction in Jasper. I went with friends on sunny day. We booked the tickets in advance to beat the ques. It is taking about 15min to get to the top. Views are breath taking. Mountains, lakes, woods and whole town of jasper you can see from there. Great photo opportunity. Will visit again when I will... More

Arrived from Canmore cold and tired. Found the restaurant when we stopped for gas. Mid afternoon and not busy but service was slow - maybe shift change?? Food was ok but chips were over cooked.

Sharing a site with a petrol station this family run restaurant is your typical American diner type and the menu reflects this although there are a couple of surprises on there. It was a Monday evening and the place was really empty and so that is why we got attentive service from the waitress but I am guessing at busier... More

I started with the French Onion soup which is the only reason i gave the food a 2. My wife had a chicken Caesar wrap and i a Greek chicken wrap both with fries. Both wraps were soggy and terrible. Chicken was stringy and the fries tasted as if they under cooked and had sat under a heat lamp for... More

We've travelled to Jasper a few times of recent. This is by far one of the better restaurants. Service was friendly & quick. Restaurant was nice and clean. Food was decent. Clubhouse was good. Pizza was also good. Refils aren't free, but our waiter was nice enough to let us know that prior to serving it - so it wasn't... More

Nice quiet place to eat a meal. No screaming kids, no loud contemporary music , a very pleasant waitress and good food. And, did I mention the reasonable prices? Would definitely recommend you stop here for a good meal and some quiet time. Don't be deterred by the fact that it is a part of a gas station. In this... More
