Nice quiet place to eat a meal. No screaming kids, no loud contemporary music , a very pleasant waitress and good food. And, did I mention the reasonable prices? Would definitely recommend you stop here for a good meal and some quiet time. Don't be deterred by the fact that it is a part of a gas station. In this... More

There was a good variety of food choices, service and food were very good and prices were reasonable. We were there for supper and breakfast and were very pleased with everything.

I have traveled by car and as a bus drivers all over western North America and I often chose which truck stops to eat at by the parking lot. If I see a lot of big trucks in the parking lot more times then not the food will be decent and reasonably prices. I found this place using a similar... More

Although their fish and chips may be average, as well as their pizzas, their Greek cuisine is far above average. When I arrived, I expected it to be hardly worth the drive, and it initially looked to be a boring gas station diner. It was, however with far better atmosphere, and also a good selection of Greek food, all of... More

Having been to Canada before you cannot go wrong with a roadside diner for breakfast. We called in here for breakfast knowing that it would be good value as it's attached to a filling station so therefore would be frequented by locals more than tourists. We were not disappointed, we both had the house special 3 eggs any which way,... More

It didn't take us long on our visit to Jasper to figure out how expensive all the restaurants in town are. We had heard of The Bright Spot and that it had good food at reasonable prices, so we gave it a try...and kept going back and back.... We ate breakfast there twice and it was really good. Went there... More

Good, simple food,at a reasonable price. Most restaurants in Jasper are over-priced, catering to the tourist market. The Bright Spot is attached to the local PetroCan gas station, so it lacks the glitzy ambience, but the food is just as good (if not better) than the fancy places on the main drag. It's also a lot cheaper!

On my recent trip to jasper, my family and I stopped in for some lunch. We ordered a greek pizza , side of fries, and hotwings. The pizza was loaded and excellent. The fries were good the gravy was also good. The hotwings were way better than I expected. For all that and drinks it came to $50, not bad... More

On a recent trip through Jasper I stopped for breakfast at the Bright Spot. It's not so bright. The waitress was robotic and curt. I ordered a coffee and eggs Benedict and they came with hash browns that were so salty I couldn't eat them and a hollandaise sauce that had far too much vinegar. I was very hungry so... More

We ate here for breakfast. Food was okay. My kids had pancakes, they loved them. I had eggs Benny. It wasn't great, but was okay. Coffee was really good. The server was fantastic dealing with my very grouchy 9-year old. She got his mood turned around.
