Are we in France?

Three nites; three different gourmet restaurants. Can it get any better...yes...Syrahs. Everyone had different dishes and we shared them around... dishes from salads, entrees to deserts were awesome. Superb food, great ambience and fantastic service. We were so lucky to walk past and see their 'anniversary offer' celebrating 1 year since opening. We enjoyed the meal so much we went back the next night!.

This was the most interesting and skilled menu we've encountered in this region. Everything was expertly prepared and the flavors were thoughtfully combined. The service was spot on: nothing was missing or neglected and yet there was no hovering. Just a delightful evening in a wonderful restaurant.

Had the 3 course anniversary dinner while on a weekend trip with friends. Intimate, grown-up ambiance. Appetizer, main course and desert all impeccable. Venison ragout and curry chicken were excellent. Desserts were a stand-out, including the perfect creme brulee, the double chocolate brownie and the raspberry goat cheese cheesecake. Worth a return visit!

We ate here while on vacation in Jasper. A real nice restaurant in the middle of town. The server was excellent, very knowledgable and helpful. We shared the main, a halibut dish, which was delicious and perfectly cooked. We strongly recommend Syrahs.

Amazing value. The restaurant is a year old today. Being in Jasper for 2 nights, we chose here for our second evening meal. Absolutely fabulous! We had salmon bruschetta and elk carpaccio for starters, steak and salmon mains and a cheeseboard to share. All good quality, excellent service and a great wine list. Marvellous all round. Go! You won't regret... More

We read online about this restaurant and how it accommodated people with gluten/dairy issues. It was perfect for my wife and I. We had the salmon and it was done to perfection. The server was excellent and his service was spot on! Thank you for such a great dining experience.

We have been staying in Jasper for three days and eaten at different restaurants each night. The other two were OK but this restaurant was way above the others..... and the others were rated higher than Syrahs..... not for much longer I suspect. Everything was excellent, the service, the variety of food and the quality, the wine list and the... More

There are plenty of dining options in scenic Jasper, Alberta, but I was seeking a) a good glass of red (well, maybe two:-) and b) great food, ambiance and service in a non-pub atmosphere. I found all of these things at Syrahs of Jasper: a delightful bistro with a European slant. The waiter was awesome and brought water immediately, and... More

My husband and I with our 2 friends stumbled on this restaurant while looking for somewhere to eat on our last night in Jasper .And what a treat! It is obvious the chef/ owner Jason is passionate about food, flavours and presentation. We were offered the lightest and tastiest complimentary macadamia and basil pesto biscuit with orange butter which set... More
