A nice place for breakfast.

We had been out early to Lake Maligne, arriving back into Jasper we were starving, a local told us to go here, nice breakfast if on the cold side, but we did get boiling water for cup of tea where some place its only warm. Has a good reputation for dinner but we have not tried it.

We chanced into Syrahs after a long tiring hike. It turned out to be our favorite restaurant over our two-day stay in Jasper! The atmosphere was perfect, not noisy or dark, but classy and comfortable. The service was superb. Our waiter was attentive, very pleasant and always around when we needed him. Presentations of the food was great. We had... More

Very good food, with some special mains. Reasonable price - about 70$ for a couple (3 entrees, 1main, wine). They also gives very nice appetizers a few minutes after you are getting in. Nice warm lights and atmosphere, good music, really nice stuff!! Recommended.

I write as a diner with Celiac about my experience in various establishments. My family and I visited Jasper in July. We found the town very quaint and friendly and Syrahs of Jasper fit right in . The food was excellent. The gluten free menu had a fair bit of choice, and the service superb. It's the little touches that... More

We stopped in here for dessert one evening and were so impressed we returned the next night for dinner. Dark, welcoming ambience. Service friendly but very slow. We split the seafood risotto appetizer, which was tasty. My wife had the venison ragout, which was excellent, while I had the sturgeon, which was a little bland. This restaurant the the Raven... Though a little more upmarket than other places in Jasper, this is a must! Do remember to book as the restaurant is not that big. The food is absolutely wonderful, the elk carpaccio simply melts in your mouth and the service is very very good. In 2 we had the elk carpaccio, the mushroom carpaccio and 2 Elk Tenderloin, White... Service and food were top notch at Syrahs. Prices seemed reasonable for the quality, especially with the current US $ exchange rate.

We had a pleasant dinner in Syrahs, restaurant is cozy and staff accurate. We ordered venison ragout and curried chicken, tasty, but the portions were really too small, especially for the price. So we decided to order the goat cheesecake, this was very good with a right portion.
