Each plates tastes a good as it looks

The menu is understated but each of the dishes tasted well. I had the sock eyed salmon sushi , with a hint of lemon seasoning was excellent. The. Chicken curry was balanced. The vegetable tempura and chicken tempura was also excellent. The large salad was crisp and faultless. I am fearful of... read more

At Sayuri they do make an effort to offer good quality products. The service quality as many other reviews state is way below friendliness or competencs standards and as far from any Japanese standard... It is a little sad to see that at Sayuri they do not manage well concerning an eye for service, room decor and culinary skills with... More

Tasty sushi with a few other options. Service is good and decor is very enjoyable. Works well for large groups, though reservations are a good idea if it's during busier time, or on weekends. Great central location.

Every time I am visiting Jasper I never fail to dine in Sayuri as my previous visits were excellent, however the recent visit that we had was so terrible. We had our dinner before we are gonna watch movie in Chaba Theatre. I was surprised with the new lady Canadian server, she was absolutely racist though she noticed that we... More

Ate supper here with my family over Easter weekend. Sashimi was average, tasted pretty fresh. Tempura was too greasy for my taste but kids loved it. California rolls were under seasoned, we really liked the seared tuna tataki- very good. Sayuri has been a regular stop on our Jasper trips in past, we have always loved it. Feel like quality... If you ever need for a fix on Sushi, this place fits the bill. Great with friends and even a sushi bar for the individuals. The specials are good too when you visit this place often and want something new. I do have my favorites like chopped hotate and tuna belly. Service from the servers does have to step it... More

Great fresh food with lots to take home! We had soup, drinks and fried banana for desert. Yummy! We made a reservation. Servers were very helpful explaining the various dishes to us.

We called a few hours ahead of time to make a reservation for 4 of us. When we got there, we stood at the entrance for a solid five minutes and no one had greeted us, despite plenty of staff looking at us, not even acknowledgment that we were there. We finally went up to one of the staff and... More

Might seem strange seeing such a restaurant in Jasper so far from the ocean but I completely enjoyed my sushi dinner there. Price is a little high but so is everything in Jasper. I recommend you give it a try.

The food was good but the menu is rather limited. Just some middle of the road sushis. We did not have reservations but the place was not so busy. Service was efficient and pleasant. As we were a group of 6, an automatic tip was added to the bill. Reliable place to go but don't expect to be WOWed.
