We ate in the Moose's Nock two nights. Both fish dinners, trout and pickerel, were excellent. The service was good, and the music contributed to a relaxed evening. It was because of the pianist, Morley Fleming, we returned the second night.

The staff is friendly but most of them are summer staff and poorly trained and over worked. The food is OK but the price value and execution is not good. Wines start at $14 for a five ounce glass and beer starts at $7.

We wanted a special dinner for a birthday but didn't feel like going to town after a day of hiking. The menu at Moose's Nook offered fresh fish, salads and fresh vegetables. The food was excellent and portions were generous.

We chose the grilled white fish and were not disappointed. Superb food, highly memorable made more so by the pianist playing from a central stage.

So brought family for dinner. Had the ribeye and the trout. Amazing meal. Great atmosphere with the piano off to the side. The side dishes were great as well. Finished off with the lava cake. All in all a great meal. Not cheap but worth it

We were told by the Lodge staff that this was the best restaurant in the Lodge, however it was mediocre at best and way over priced.

The food was very good and the service was attentive and offered great recommendations on the menu. My wife ordered a glass of wine that did not quite taste right and there was no hesitation about replacing it.

We decided to do the Chef's Tasting and what an experience it was. Expensive, but for an eight course meal with some incredible dishes it was a true once in a lifetime dining experience. Venison, Bison and fresh locally grown vegetables were just part of the experience. And they torch the Creme Brulee table side.
