Fresh, quick coffee and baked goods

We always stop at Bear's Paw when we're in Jasper. Avoid Timmy's and grab something that's actually cooked fresh on site. The smell will grab you as soon as you walk in. Best place for coffee in Jasper for sure. Not much seating and often there's a lineup.

I went for the Nanaimo bars and the coffee. My wife liked the raspberry white chocolate scones. We walked out with something different each day but it was our first stop every day during our visit to Jasper. The small cafe was packed with all kinds of breads, pastries, prepared sandwiches, cookies. Well, it's a bakery. A very good bakery.... More

Good coffee and sweet treats that are as good as any big city. Personally, I really like the sticky buns and black coffee. It really revs you for the day, but be sure to go early to avoid what can be gargantuan lines during high season.

Holiday in Jasper with my family last week. They had been here before and recommended it as a "have to go" place while in Jasper. Was expecting an ordinary bakery, but was overwhelmed by the amount of people who obviously felt it was a " have to go" place as well. There was so much wonderful food, we decided we... More

Good coffee. Good snacks. Good box lunches that we could take with us while out for a day of hiking.

I guess it just depends on what kind of bakery you're used to. We tried scones, a cinnamon roll and some "pastry" with raspberries. Nothing was exceptional and mostly was just tasteless dough. I've tasted worse baked goods, but I've certainly tasted way better.

No better way to start a day's hiking than with a large coffee and a sticky cinnamon bun or raspberry & white chocolate scone!

The bakery has a huge variety in combination with high quality. Prices here are cheap for Canadian standard. We tried a lot of different things and everything was good.

Need a quick and tasty treat for breakfast or snack? This little bakery has a great assortment of goodies at a reasonable price. Everything is wonderful and really delicious. Don't walk by without stepping in and giving something a try. You won't be sorry.

Bad service from grumpy young staff with hangovers. Got our order wrong too. Too bad, everything looked yummy. Americano was just ok.
