We enjoyed our meals at La Fiesta, although the food is not typical of the Mexican we normally are served. Still, it wasn't bad. Service was OK on a quiet night, with just one server working. My wife is vegetarian, and it seems like most of the restaurants in town cater to the carnivore crowd, so this was a good... More

We look forward to visiting this restaurant when we go to Jasper. It is actually was one of my favourites! Anyway.......it sure has gone downhill!!! First off the waitress was drunk. Yes. Drunk. She reeked of alcohol, could hardly stand without leaning, was slurring, etc. Food was DISGUSTING. I got taco pollo...if you like a hunk of pressed chicken go... More

We entered this establishment shortly after it opened and were told to stand outside and that she was too busy to take anymore customers and that we could wait until someone left to get seated. There were lots of tables empty and she was the only one in sight doing everything. It is the only Mexican restaruant in town and... More

We always looked forward to going to this restaurant every time we hit town. No more. Our last visit was a huge disappointment. We should have been forewarned when we arrived to find it empty on a Friday evening of a glorious fall weekend in the Rockies. We should have known when we got our usual appetizer and found the... I have had several great meals here in the past, this was my first return visit in a couple of years. Our small group of 4 was surprised to see the place nearly empty of customers, which should have been a clue, formerly it seemed to always be busy. We were served drinks fairly promptly, I ordered the house white,... More

I had a burrito. It had way too much seasoning and was unusually dry. I love Mexican food. I even married a half-Mexican. But don't go here for Mexican food. It was not recommended by our B&B host. We should have listened.

Absolutely worst Mexican food ever and poor service. The food took nearly 40 min to arrive and it was certainly not worth the wait. The restaurant was nearly empty. Especially the chicken enchiladas tasted like something from a can..... The waitresses was too busy chatting in the bar and didn't visit our table once during the meal to ask for... More

Perhaps we were just tired, but we were not impressed with the food here. Sangria was fantastic! I ordered an enchilada. The spices were so strong, and a bit odd. The refried beans were homemade - but very bland. We really looked forward to this place - but were not impressed. Perhaps the Spanish Tapas are better, but we didn't... More

A welcome cut above the generic Mexican restaurant, thanks to excellent spicing and preparation. For example, the enchiladas were cooked to perfection, making the cheese on top particularly tasty, and the refried beans were a unique homemade version. Don't go for atmosphere, but for the food.

The portions we received were huge! We had enough for lunch the next day. We had the tortilla soup for a starter, which was delicious. Then we both had the chicken quesidillas. They were also delicious. It came with mexican rice and refried beans. I enjoyed the rice but I am not a huge fan of beans. If you like... More
