Best sandwiches in Jasper

This deli is a treat - it has the best sandwiches in Jasper by a long shot. They're made with love and the freshest of ingredients, as healthy as you want and sooo tastey. Just the thing to take with you on a hike or boat trip.

It was the end of a two-week vacation across Western Canada, a full loop from Prince George to Courtenay, through Kelowna, Banff to Edmonton, and back home. Edmonton was a disappointment, boasting little of interest outside of oxygen and paved roads. A planned two days in Jasper was reduced to a single afternoon after discovering the gloomy weather. Instead of... More

I typically don"t write poor reviews. This deli definetly has a wonderful sandwich. The posted hours are amusing but a little strange. Basically they open or close whenever they want. After viewing the owners interactions with clients including my own. He seems to take them for granted. He knows that many of his customers are tourists and their will always... More

There is considerable hype about this deli so we thought this is for us. First off they only provide made for you sandwiches, a selection of drinks, cookies and crisps. No tea. The title of the "Deli" suggests otherwise. We stood in line for 15 mins to wait for the preparation of our sandwiches. The bread is freshly baked but... More

First place my kids want to go when we get to Jasper. Wraps, sandwiches, soup, wings, we have tried it all. Fresh roasted chicken for "the Bird" is their specialty I would say. Very unique toppings make it a real find when trying to please everyone. The pickled beets and crunchy pickles are a hit with all of us. We... More

All the reviews are right. This is the best place that we ate in the Canadian Rockies. The food was excellent and the staff were super friendly. We all got chicken sandwiches - "the bird" - with cranberry mayo to go. Then everyone tailored the toppings to their liking. We took the sandwiches to a picnic several hours later and... More

What an interesting place to get your food. The team prepare your food. A playful banter was engaged with staff and customers. Food was good. A local recommended this deli we were not disappointed.

Stuff looked ok but on my visit I was greeted by an overbearing, unpleasant and impatient woman who proceeded to make the whole experience so unpleasant that I almost left without completing my order. Everything was too much trouble. I cannot believe that someone with such an unpleasant and contemptuous attitude remains in business. Sandwiches/snacks were ok - absolutely nothing... More

Loved the sambos and the banter. Anyone whoever dreams of doing a good deli check this one out, its inspiring. Goes to show to be a success you do not need an easy to find loud large location just simple stuff done with charm I love it when a place gets it so right that it knows it is great... More

Where else can you get a hand made sandwich, on freshly baked breads, with cranberry mayo, goat cheese, bean sprouts, and pickled beets among the choices of toppings? Yes pickled beets and bean sprouts, among MANY others..... We stopped to have sandwiches made to pack for lunches on our hikes, and we were not disappointed. Awesome, friendly staff having fun...
