Sometimes I think that I would drive from Edmonton, 4 hours away, just to have one of their chicken sandwiches. They're that good. Grab a couple to go and find a picnic table somewhere and you have a wonderful lunch. They are at a new location, but a pardon the pun, sandwich board out on Patricia Street points the way.... More

Do get your lunch here, it is well worth seeking this deli hidden in a little arcade behind the staircase. The sandwiches are fantastic with a choice of several breads, too many fillings to list and all served with great good humour. There is a little seating area outside in the arcade.

Based on a recommendation in our Lonely Planet guide, popped in to pick up a couple of wraps to take for our lunch before heading out for the day. Nice staff, made to order, and very tasty indeed.

We stopped by because of the positive reviews on TA and were not disappointed. The sandwiches were fresh, tasty, and not as salty as other sandwiches we had on our trip. We picked up the sandwiches and brought up to eat on the top of the Jasper Skytram. Great meal and great views = great memories.

Amazing sand which shop! Highly recommend it! Fresh chicken for sandwiches and garlic mayo is unreal! Fresh baked cookies that melt in your mouth. Lots of options to choose from.

Seriously my husbands and mine favorite sandwich place. Love The Bird and their toppings are really good. I recommend beets for sure! Cranberry chutney is really good too. Honestly we've gotten sandwiches there a few times and have never been disappointed.

Sandwiches were amazing and the service was great. The only issue was the lack of seating. Definitely worth visiting when in Jasper.

Once you find the new location(it's back under the stairway), they are very friendly. We had their specialty chicken sandwich which was surprisingly good. Next time we will get the extra meat, for a dollar, and ask for more sauce which was hardly noticible.

went here after seeing the excellent reviews on here. I have to agree with them, and the quote in the deli; A little slice of heaven between two bits of bread! Friendly owner and tasty sandwiches (so long as you build it correctly from the options ;) ).

This was amazing - so amazing that we came back 3 times in days! Amazing sandwiches and GREAT service - it is just back from the main street but so worth searching it out! Wish we had one where we would live and we would be there every day!
