Wanted to take my dad out for dinner and he suggested the Mongolie Grill. Hadn't been there in some time and it was great. For those who don't know, you get your bowl and fill it with so many different veggies,, fruits, nuts, meats, sauces and then they charge you based on the weight of your... read more

Just like the title says, bad concept, expensive and poorly cooked. What's bad about the concept is that unless you have a tried and true recipe, you're just flying by the seat of your (expensive) pants. Edo's mall chow offering is just as good (or better) for a MUCH lower price. EXPENSIVE!!!! At north of $3 per 100g it's expensive.... More

It was my first time experiencing Mongolie Grill. I was at the downtown location with my brother. After hearing rave reviews from friends I decided to try it out. Parking was ok and the place was easy to find. The atmosphere was average. The music was...different. In the end I left disappointed, here is why. After getting the load-down by... More

Stopped in for dinner as we have eaten in the standard places in Edmonton and wanted something different. First off we were seated promptly with a high chair for our toddler. When the waitress came to take our drink order and explain how everything works we asked if they had any items specifically for kids. She said they didn't have... More

Dropped in for dinner with my family while in Edmonton to compete at the Triathlon World Championships. The staff was very good, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. Give this place a try, you can tailor the meal to whatever you're looking for and the service is great. You won't be disappointed!

At one time this was my favorite restaurant in town, but it has slipped. Goodbye to unlimited soup and rice ...it has totally lost its edge in becoming more profit hungry. Hoe much does rice actually cost? So sad, this used to be my favorite. I won't be back, at least I have the memories of how it once was.

Our family went there yesterday to try it out with my cousin family as they had a coupon. Not very impressed. Our kids always liked stir fried foods but not here since they did not finish half of all. Everything (noodles, beef, chicken, shrimp) was so dry because I think the chefs cooked the hell out of them since you... More

This was our first time eating here and the waitress and cook were both very friendly and helpful. I am a vegetarian and was very pleased at all of the meatless options that I could add to my food, including tofu (not to mention vegetarians get 20% off their bill!). We absolutely loved our food! It was SO tasty and... More

This was my first experience in The Mongolie Grill concept, where you eat food by weight. There are many choices of meat, chicken and seafood to mix with vegies of choice et sauces. The meal comes ith a choice of soup and the 100g of the bowl is about 4$. I liked the concept as one does not waste food.... More

The food was good but overall atmosphere and cleanliness of the establishment was poor. Country music isn't very fitting in my opinion. Carpets were filthy, cheap table cloths that weren't clean, and the bathrooms were disgusting. Not impressed and would not return.
