Now I know why folks in Edmonton smile so much! It must be due to the fact that they have an amazing delight called Culina! A quaint place that offers a selection of dishes that are prepared in such a way that you will never be disappointed. I recommend the duck breast! Absolute perfection! The service was as you would... very good, my first time here and I was very impressed. I had the bacon and eggs and it was delicious, even though I am not a fan of mushrooms, the mushroom cream sauce added a nice dimension of flavor.

Saturday dinner was excellent, with corresponding service, and memorable food. My only criticism was that the portions were perhaps too generous. We had lamb ravioli, and beef tenderloin, with an appetizer of house bread with "cultured butter", and olive-almond tapenade; had we simply shared a main course, we would have had room to also share a desert. Decent wine list,... More

Went there for dinner with family. Kind of a rough start - our reservation was 7:30 pm and first thing our server told us was that they were out of the lamb special. Then we ordered a bottle of wine & they were out of that wine. We were beginning to wonder if we should stay. Service was slow -... More

The food was fantastic. Every ingredient on the plate worked so well together. It was really refreshing to eat something that you could tell had so much thought put into the flavours. You must try the beef tenderloin with blue cheese sauce - so delicious! Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere, great service. I would have liked the service to... More

It rarely gets much better than this. Once you have read through the varied, unique, and most interesting menu (do so online before arriving because you will have difficulty choosing on the spot!), prepare for a gourmet dinner (and excellent wine) served by professional and personable staff. We chose the caprese to start, followed by two main courses (haddock and... More

Do make reservations for brunch as the place was packed. We ordered bacon & eggs as well as eggs benedict and both were delicious. The French Press coffee was wonderful and complimented our meals. Service was very good and while the selection on the brunch menu was not large there were sufficient choices. It was nice to try out their... More

Culina's did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and recommended a few great wines from a very wide wine selection. The menu was limited, but the dishes we tried were amazing (well worth the fact that they are slightly more expensive). The restaurant is rather cosy, and I really loved the atmosphere. Recommend that you make a reservation since it... More

I went here on my last trip to Edmonton with my family. Everything we had was excellent., I had the steak two ways and it was perfect. Can't wait to go again. OK I went again on my last Visit. This is my favorite place to eat in Edmonton. I must try a different item on the menu next time!!!... More

For excellent innovative food in a bistro setting......Culina is tough to beat. Their standards remain high & variety and commitment to local sourcing very good. Have not had a bad meal after frequent visits over past number of years. The bonus however is the adjacent wine bar capably and affably operated by sommelier Dianna Funnell - a great match for...
