We live walking distance from Culina and eat there at least once a month if not more. It is consistently wonderful. The intimate dinning room maybe seats 40 people at the most which is wonderful because even when they are full, which they usually are, the ambience is perfect, it's never outrageously loud and the music selection is very enjoyable.... Dinner for 4 with our daughter and son-in-law. Wow. Great service, great food, great evening. Quaint location. Taster plate to start, all items devoured. Also ordered the Chorizo Mussels as an app to share, best broth and appetizer in a long time! I hope they make this a fixture on the menu. The Balsamic BBQ Pork was tender, crispy on... More

We stopped by for brunch one Sunday, what an excellent meal! We bought a wedding gift certificate from here for good friends after this one meal. Great ambiance, small local restaurant. This restaurant is in our home town, I can't believe we just found it now. We will definitely be returning soon.

Now I know why folks in Edmonton smile so much! It must be due to the fact that they have an amazing delight called Culina! A quaint place that offers a selection of dishes that are prepared in such a way that you will never be disappointed. I recommend the duck breast! Absolute perfection! The service was as you would... very good, my first time here and I was very impressed. I had the bacon and eggs and it was delicious, even though I am not a fan of mushrooms, the mushroom cream sauce added a nice dimension of flavor.

Saturday dinner was excellent, with corresponding service, and memorable food. My only criticism was that the portions were perhaps too generous. We had lamb ravioli, and beef tenderloin, with an appetizer of house bread with "cultured butter", and olive-almond tapenade; had we simply shared a main course, we would have had room to also share a desert. Decent wine list,... More

Went there for dinner with family. Kind of a rough start - our reservation was 7:30 pm and first thing our server told us was that they were out of the lamb special. Then we ordered a bottle of wine & they were out of that wine. We were beginning to wonder if we should stay. Service was slow -... More

The food was fantastic. Every ingredient on the plate worked so well together. It was really refreshing to eat something that you could tell had so much thought put into the flavours. You must try the beef tenderloin with blue cheese sauce - so delicious! Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere, great service. I would have liked the service to... More

It rarely gets much better than this. Once you have read through the varied, unique, and most interesting menu (do so online before arriving because you will have difficulty choosing on the spot!), prepare for a gourmet dinner (and excellent wine) served by professional and personable staff. We chose the caprese to start, followed by two main courses (haddock and... More
