My dinner partner and I were both very disappointed in our first and last meal here. I had the falafel and he had the chicken shawarma and both left much to be desired. Looking at the positives, service was friendly and fast.

Staff: waitress was friendly. Owner very friendly and goes to tables to check in on you. Service: it was empty when we went (maybe 4 tables in use). So service was fast. Establishment: nice and big and open. They smoke shisha there but you don't really smell it throughout. Family orientated - booster seats available! Food: pictures on menu look... More

Excellent place for work gatherings with very attentive and friendly service. The menu was extensive and easy to understand with a lot of good explanations and colorful photos of the plates. The food itself, I had kibbe and falafels but also tried the baba ganoush and arayess and didn't find one thing that wasn't tasty and flavorful. Good spicing, nice... More

First time in a Lebanese cafe/restaurant. Ordered the tabbouleh salad and beef shawarma plate, both surprisingly tasty and and had very fresh vegetables. Try it out! You won't be disappointed.

Our party of 4 shared a chicken plate and a vegetarian plate. Both were very good. The falafels were a bit dry but tasty, especially when mixed with the hummus and other sauces. Ingredients were very fresh and well put together. The restaurant was clean and service was efficient. And prices were reasonable, too! A great place to go for... More

This is a chain of 4 restaurants that advertises itself as offering affordable Middle Eastern food, like tabbouleh, hummus and shish kabob, and especially the sour-tasting zaatar (sumac) paste on pita. When I go there, I usually choose the Arayess (pita with grilled lamb, parsley, pine nuts and tomato), with a Lebanese salad ($9.95). I found the dishes quite flavourful,... More

My wife and I lived in Dubai for 10 years and had the opportunity to dine at some fine Lebanese restaurants. It was with high expectations that we went to Shish Taouk. The high expectations were quickly dashed with the first bite of dried out tasteless shwarma. I had the plate and my wife had the wrap. Even though the... More

This was our first time eating Lebanese food and we loved it. The spicy shrimp appy was delicious! We also ordered the "la shish", "shish kabob" and "vegetarian". Highlights were the shrimp (of course), garlic potatoes, beef rice, chicken, beef, lamb, and garlic spread. If you meal doesn't come with garlic spread, ask for a side of it - you... More
