When I go there, I usually choose the Arayess (pita with grilled lamb, parsley, pine nuts and tomato), with a Lebanese salad ($9.95). I found the dishes quite flavourful,... More

My wife and I lived in Dubai for 10 years and had the opportunity to dine at some fine Lebanese restaurants. It was with high expectations that we went to Shish Taouk. The high expectations were quickly dashed with the first bite of dried out tasteless shwarma. I had the plate and my wife had the wrap. Even though the... More

This was our first time eating Lebanese food and we loved it. The spicy shrimp appy was delicious! We also ordered the "la shish", "shish kabob" and "vegetarian". Highlights were the shrimp (of course), garlic potatoes, beef rice, chicken, beef, lamb, and garlic spread. If you meal doesn't come with garlic spread, ask for a side of it - you... More

My husband and I went for a late lunch and the place was empty. I ordered lentil soup and at the waitresses suggestion he ordered the shish combo. The soup was hot and the flavours were delicious. We shared the combo, it is quite large, and the chicken and beef were cooked perfectly tender and juicy. The waitress was friendly,... More

We have been coming here at least 2-3 times per month and always happy with service and food. Only time I wasn't overly satisfied was last week when we came with a friend from Toronto and I was boasting about how good this place was and the chicken was dry. :( it was around 6 pm and they might have... Fresh and tasty. The shish combo has three kababs - one beef, one chicken and one lamb (ground and formed). Made fresh, they are a whole lot of good food, with the two types of rice, garlic sauce, and hummus and pita. My husband and I can make a meal of one plate - and enough left over for lunch... More

After an evening of shopping in Mayfield Common, a friend and I decided to stop in for a bite. We shared the spicy shrimp appetizer, which was plentiful (approximately 8) and phenomenal tasting (sauce you could drink)!! I went on to have the chicken shish kabob and the flavor of the various spices on the meat and in the rice... More

My Lebanese friend suggested this place to me and I can tell you that the food was amazzzing! I absolutely loved the falafels and the grilled veggies. I gave them a four star because the food was great but the atmosphere was pretty low key for a weekend night. Definetly worth a shot!

The Falafal plate was dry, boring, cold, and tasteless and the waitress kept calling me "dear" which I abhor but I would not have complained had I not gotten the bill for $8 for a pot of ordinary tea for one. I walked out swearing I would never go back and I won't.

We dropped in late on a Saturday night as a first-time visit for a simple bite after a show. We left $100 later - what a rip off! When we asked for the bill, we got to know about the $10 cover charge and 15% fixed gratuity. It cost $32 before drinks, cover charge, and tips. The food was poor... More
