Still Thriving after all these years

A busy location so come before the lunch crowd. The atmosphere is comfortably eccentric. The portions are very generous. I had the Shepard's pie with seasonal vegetables and this was more than enough for me. The Shepard's pie had ample meat, it wasn't overrun with potatoes like many places make... read more

It's always crowded on saturday morning, and this is because the place is great for breakfast, not many options but all them are really good. the service is very good and the place is very comfortable, I really like this place. I'll be there next weekend.

We went here for lunch and I was very disappointed in the limited menu selection. We had reserved for 6 and we told them when we were seated that there would probably only be the 4 of us, so they moved one small table over for a twosome. We we had a 15% tip automatically added to the bill even... More

We kept hearing that we needed to go try this place, that it's an Edmonton institution and sure enough it was worth the visit. We had tried to go a few times but parking can be a bit of an issue due to it's popularity. The service and food were both excellent. We'll definitely go back again.

I love this place. The menu is huge, diverse, unique and delicious!! I also like that they display local artists work on the walls. Service is fantastic and speedy. I typically arrange business and casual lunches here.

My husband and I took his brother and wife for lunch here when we visited them in July 2015. Very interesting restaurant. Quite busy. Must list you licence plate no. on a sheet at the door so you do not get a parking ticket in the free lot across the street! Food was good and large portions. Service was good... More

Best diner in Edmonton, hands down. Best value. Best service. Best hot chocolate. Best bread pudding. And of course, best cinnamon buns, try the caramel bourbon sauce with them. Edmonton, this place is tops. If I have to say a fair review, the wait is long, especially on the weekend mornings, but well worth the wait.

My family and I often eat here for Sunday brunch and each we are happy with our meals. You must try their cinnamon bun and egg benedict (you can order half portion). Worth the time to line up for.

This used to ber a great place to go, now they're focused on getting the food out as cheaply as possible, with a limited menu. We won't be back. The coffee is good though.

My husband and I were in Edmonton for the day and decided to go to the Highlevel Diner for lunch. He had suggested it because he used to enjoy going there many years ago when he was in college but hadn't been there since. We were both very pleased with our friendly server, lunch menu and of course our lunch!... More
