Despite having great ambiance, and a fantastic menu, the high level diner is just plain awesome. I've been with my wife and family countless times and have ordered all over the menu and everything is just great. PLUS, get one of the window spots and check out the high level bridge/river valley while you eat. Last time I went I... More

My son and I stopped here on our way out of Edmonton on route to a weekend at the lake. Wonderful way to start our mini vacation. Food was amazing, interior is very cozy but I like that. Don't think any one goes away hungry. We'll be back

We visited the High Level Diner twice in the Christmas and New Year period. Once for dinner and once for breakfast. Both meals were very tasty with good portion sizes at very reasonable prices. I recommend the Candy Cane Cheesecake as on the best I have ever eaten. The Shephards pie was also superb. For the breakfast the Eggs Benedict... More

This restaurant has a bit of a cult following. The menu was a bit different which was nice, but the food was average and the atmosphere was a bit too shabby. I think they were going for homey, but it didn't work for me.

I went here because it's supposed to be one of the best breakfasts in Edmonton. I am frequent visitor to Edmonton and had been to this place probably 25 years ago. Anyhow, the breakfast was OK--nothing special to recommend it. Also, the High Level doesn't offer wi-fi and the waiter told me they don't offer it because they don't want... More

Had two very yummy and extremely flavorful dishes that my husband and I shared, but the piece de resistance was their Bread Pudding with a Brown Sugar Bourbon Sauce!!! OMG!!! I could have eaten 3 or more of them, all by myself, they were that good!!! Decided to eat there due to seeing an episode of "You Gotta Eat Here!"... More

We had a very positive experience at this restaurant for breakfast. The service was friendly and quick. We didn't realize that there was a full menu with numerous items because no one told us so we ordered from the single plastic menu that only gave the specials but didn't say it was the specials. We were pleased with the omelets... More

Highlevel diner is always tasty, and has amazing coffee, but their Eggs Benedict are the best I've ever had. They also have a special on occasion that is eggs benedict with pesto that I always hope is on special when I go. The weekends are often busy, so there is typically a line up after 9:30, but it is always... More

Visiting this Diner has been on my to do list, dare I say it, for 25 plus years. I am sure it has change over the years but my experience yesterday was very positive. I give the Waiter 10 out of 10 and the food 9 out of 10. Unique menu items and a beet borscht soup that stood out... More
