After much fanfare and reading about the history of this place - the bar was high. The pizza was bland with terrible cheese, black burnt basil and well overcooked crust. The service was even worse as the male waiter rushed us out & seemed preoccupied the entire time (we were only table in there). The place itself is charming, great... More

Born and raised in Philadelphia, I am a very tough critic on Pizza, Tonys has pride and hand tosses the dough and has pride in what it serves. I was happy and this was my third trip here. I am American and know good pizza, this was pretty good for Canada. We will be back, love pride in Pizza, and... More

I made the mistake of having a pasta dish with zucchini and shrimp. The ingredients were fresh but the zucchini was mushy and the shrimp was really overcooked. I took my leftovers home and added some garlic, parmesan cheese and vegetables. It tasted pretty good. Apparently the pizza is amazing and if I go there again that's what I will... More

Had a gift card for this place and we'd never heard of it before. Wow - what a pleasant surprise. So inviting, such nice management, great atmosphere. Authentic food. Should have made a reservation because it was so busy late on Friday night but they managed to fit us in. No complaints

I have eaten THIN crust pizza in many cities throughout the world, including Italy. Tony's is not up to standards. I am not sure why it was even recommended. The crust was thin, but the edges were super crunchy, and the topping bland! Personally, I prefer the frozen pizza Doekter from the grocery store.

I had high expectations, after seeing the website. It was a huge dissapointment. I ordered a pepperoni pizza. The slices was an inch thick, not very appetizing. The sauce is from can, for sure. I have no idea how they could survive this long.

Tony's is such a great place to eat. I always enjoy the "mood" inside. It is a genuinely happy establishment. My first visit to Tony's was for my Birthday a few years ago. I grew up in Edmonton, and thought I had hit all the spots. Somehow I had missed this place. Well all I can say is WOW, I... More

After reading the reviews, husband and I were very excited to try Tony's pizza. We got the antipasto sampler (cant remember the name) and the Tony's Deluxe Pizza (the supposed best-seller). What a disappointment! While the meats and cheeses on the antipasti plate were good and fresh, the pizza was nothing like real italian pizza. I have been to Italy... More

Our gang is on a quest for NYC style pizza in Edmonton. Tried Tony's tonight. Was quite impressed. Loved the pizza dough tossing by kitchen staff. Very friendly, great service. Don't be fooled by the neighborhood. We will be bakc!
