I've heard of all the hype surrounding the breakfast here and have been meaning to try it for a while. Every time I've gone the lineups were out the door, so I've always gone somewhere else. We got in at opening on Sunday morning, parking was a nightmare, there was nothing available around the restaurant, so had to go 3... More

Stopped in here for lunch while visiting Edmonton. My husband had the lamb burger (excellent! and huge!) and I had the pulled pork (ho-hum). I would give this restaurant a "very good" rating if it weren't for the sad excuse for a side salad they served. It was just greens with dressing. My advice would be to get the fries... More

Friends who were living in Edmonton brought me here for brunch. It was probably the most magical French Toast experience I have ever had. They used an amazing bread and you had the option of a few different syrups. It was a crowded place and very very trendy with plenty of younger adults around with very tight pants (at least... More

This little restaurant was featured on You Gotta’ Eat Here when the show visited Edmonton, so naturally you want to try it out. I heard everyone talking about it over and over…finally I go for lunch. Meh. I had the chilli with corn bread…the corn bread was cold, and the chilli not much flavor, I can certainly do better. The... More

Went for dinner with friends who live in Edmonton while we were visiting. I was somewhat surprised to see it called a coffee and juice bar, because it has more of an authentic English pub feel. Lots of people inside, chatting and enjoying some of the many beers on tap. I had their burger that was on special, which was... More

It was 2:30 on a Saturday afternoon, a time when most restaurants are recovering from the lunchtime rush, and preparing for a dinner. For most this would be a quieter time. So my husband and I thought we would this would be a good time to try the Sugar Bowl, which is just off 109 St. and 88th Avenue, near... More

They have a nice selection of beers from the tap and great food. It is a great place to have a beer with your friends close to the university.

Went out with some family I hadn't seen in a while. It's not to big and it's not to loud. The server was really up front and honest with is which was refreshing. The meal was amazing! The homemade sauces were better. We had the cookie to end things off which made it even better because they freshly make the... More

I have visited Sugarbowl many times and have grown to really like it. It is small and often times very busy so be prepared to possibly have to wait for a table. The food is good, but i visit for the beer selection. The selection is one of the best i have seen in edmonton. Beers from all over the... More
