My husband and I had breakfast at the Sugarbowl this morning, ordering two early bird specials - big mistake. When the plates arrived his scrambled and my over easy eggs were stone cold and greasy, the potatoes tasteless, limp and lukewarm. He sent his back to get slightly warmer greasy eggs and I opted for the breakfast sandwich (bagel, smoked... More

Stopped by the Sugar bowl last Friday night for a quick bite. I had been told that the chili was awesome so I thought I would try it. It was great! Spicy hot, delicious tasting and loads of cheese with a side order of corn bread. As poppa bear said "just right". So far my visits have shown that the... More

I went here with my sister and another friend for Sunday brunch. We ordered one of their cinnamon buns as our appetizer as I heard they are amazing. This cinnamon bun the size of a dinner plate comes out..thank goodness there was 3 of us sharing it. Yummy! I had the eggs benedict... So good instead of hollandaise sauce it... More

I haven't lived in Edmonton in 8 years and I still think of these cinnamon buns often. I recall that their other food was excellent as well, but the cinnamon buns haunt me.

saw this restaurant on t.v. so was in edmonton and thought I would give it a go. I could not believe I ordered chicken and waffles (together) and it was crazy good, the place was easy going, nothing fancy, layed back. the menu was small, but all items were tempting. it's a must try!!!! not expensive either, their cinnamon buns... I've heard of all the hype surrounding the breakfast here and have been meaning to try it for a while. Every time I've gone the lineups were out the door, so I've always gone somewhere else. We got in at opening on Sunday morning, parking was a nightmare, there was nothing available around the restaurant, so had to go 3... More

Stopped in here for lunch while visiting Edmonton. My husband had the lamb burger (excellent! and huge!) and I had the pulled pork (ho-hum). I would give this restaurant a "very good" rating if it weren't for the sad excuse for a side salad they served. It was just greens with dressing. My advice would be to get the fries... More

Friends who were living in Edmonton brought me here for brunch. It was probably the most magical French Toast experience I have ever had. They used an amazing bread and you had the option of a few different syrups. It was a crowded place and very very trendy with plenty of younger adults around with very tight pants (at least... More

This little restaurant was featured on You Gotta’ Eat Here when the show visited Edmonton, so naturally you want to try it out. I heard everyone talking about it over and over…finally I go for lunch. Meh. I had the chilli with corn bread…the corn bread was cold, and the chilli not much flavor, I can certainly do better. The... More
