If you're pressed for time or personal space...don't bother.

Waffles were great, omelette too. Wait time insane, and you get yelled at for "standing in the way" ....there is litterly nowhere to wait on weekends. Sit at the uncomfortable bar to eat faster, because nowhere is overly comfortable to eat in this cramped place! Hipsters and university... read more

Waffles were great, omelette too. Wait time insane, and you get yelled at for "standing in the way" ....there is litterly nowhere to wait on weekends. Sit at the uncomfortable bar to eat faster, because nowhere is overly comfortable to eat in this cramped place! Hipsters and university kids...decent food. What do you do when you are laying in a hotel bed early in the morning - watch the food network. The start of a favourite tv show comes on "You Gotta Eat Here". I say to my hubby, "wouldn't it be funny if an Edmonton place is featured today?" BAM there it is. The food looked so amazing we... More

I had the wild salmon liguini. the price was average but I found it way too salty that I couldn't finish it.

The long line was definitely worth it once I had that cinnamon bun! So soft and fresh! On the weekends you need to get there really early to avoid the rush

I was so excited to have chicken and waffles for the first time, but I wasn't excited about having to wait almost an hour for a seat. I suggest if you are going with a group bigger than 3 (yes 3) that you call ahead to see what the wait is like. When you do get in, its cozy and... More

Everytime I am in Edmonton, i find a way to get to the Sugar Bowl for breakfast. Not only are the cinnamon buns the best I have ever had - their breakfasts are really good. If you are feeling responsible, the oatmeal is awesome - as are the other breakfast items. It can get very busy on the weekends but... More

Chicken and Waffle, as many already know, was awesome! The maple butter was magic. I'll be back to try the craft beer. Our server was on the ball, and we never wanted for anything.

When there especially for the lamb burger only to find it's only served later in the day and we were too late for their famous cinnamon buns. That said the food we did have was really good, very energetic atmosphere, fun though, which I found a little rough that day. We'll definitely go back in the evening to try the... More

My fiance and I went to the Sugar Bowl last night for our 6 year anniversary, and everything was great! The food was delicious (I had the jerk chicken burger with Caesar salad and she had the mac n' cheese), and the service was wonderful! The only reason I didn't go 5 stars was due to the fact that we... More

As usual, the cinnamon buns were great and very large. Wonderful to have peanut butter at the table. Our friends quickly devoured their breakfast sandwiches and almost licked the plates. My fruit salad, however, could have won a prize for the most boring ever fruit salad. Only grapes, green melon and cantaloupe were offered. Not much taste and not much... More
