We have lived in Edmonton and driven past Normand's for years! Tonight we decided to try it for my husband's belated birthday. Wonderful experience! We immediately noticed the open and friendly atmosphere in the restaurant. It was obvious that many patrons were regulars by the interaction between host and guests. The restaurant is formal, but not pretentious. The wine selection... More

I went to this restaurant with a group of 10 while on a business trip. The food was very good. Everyone had great things to say about thier meals. The service was a bit slow but we still had a great time visiting.

I have not been to Normands for many years but they still have a good reputation. We went to celebrate some birthdays. Our table ordered the pheasant, New York, veal chops and arctic char with salmon. The pheasant was very good with a nice presentation. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meal except for me. I order the filet mignon... More

As my wife and I entered the restaurant for supper, we were greeted by the owner/manager but we didn't get his name. We were served by Gregory and the whole evening was a night to remember. The menu was eclectic and varied, the service was superb, and the food was visually tantalizing and very delicious. We followed Gregory's suggestions and... More

I have been to Normand's several times and the food is always excellent or, if it isn't, they are quick to fix the problem. They pride themselves on their service and accommodate special diet issues. The staff are experienced long term employees and know what they are doing. They are going to start a brunch menu at the end of... More

I've eaten here three times in last couple months while in the city. But I first ate here in the 1980's. I know of no one else but Normand and his eateries who still exemplifies that Host atmosphere. The food is always good here that is a given, and often it is exquisite. Try the duck in copper pot, my... More

We first went to Normands 5 years ago. We loved it! So for fancy or special occasions we always went there. So for Valentines Day my daughter got married and we booked a party of 18. We booked at least a month in advance, for 8:00 pm. When we started to arrive, we were told our table was not ready,... More

Our group of six (celebrating a birthday early) had some difficulty choosing from the menu, as there were so many appetising options. Those of us who had difficulty choosing between bison and wild boar were pleasantly surprised to learn that the special for the evening actually combined these options! It was quite delicious! The bouillabiasse looked very good and was... More
