Good Food - Noisy Ambiance

Seated at recommended designated time since patrons must share the same grill, about which all sit. Drink orders arrived quickly but we had to wait for late-comers to be seated by which time a second round was consumed. The menu featured filet and lobster tail that we two ordered separate from... read more

Love the food and the atmosphere. People are so nice there. The are friendly caring and entertaining. The actual building is really nice and I do enjoy their sushi. My husband is Japanese and he loves their food. He says it reminds him of his mom's home cooking.

Our family of seven recently celebrated the beginning of the New Year by going out for Japanese food on Friday night. Because we were seated around the grill at a square table, we were able to chat with everyone and enjoy our little grand children's reactions to the chef's show. We were seated immediately and my 96 year-old mom ordered... More

We had our office Christmas party here last night. The food was delicious. The show put on by our chefs was good, not over the top. The service was excellent. The cocktails were tasty. The only complaint I have, is that it was uncomfortably warm in the restaurant. I would definetly eat here again!

It was a Saturday evening shortly after 5 and we didn't have a reservation. They were able to accommodate 6 of us and the wait wasn't longer than 10 minutes. This was definitely a plus! We were seated around the grill and there was a family celebrating a birthday on the other side. It was great to see many little... More

The filet and lobster is my favourite. The cooks cook your food right in front of you and put on a little show. The food is amazing and they make the best Chi Chi's. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is not vegetarian as it is mostly all meat meals.

The food is great and the show they put on while making it just makes the experience that much better. Be prepared to eat cause the food is endless with the small samples they give you of shrimp and cooked vegetables and then of course your meal which are all quite large but delicious. If you've never been it's definitely... More

Our whole family loves this place. It's more of an experience than just a meal, with the chefs really putting on a terrific show. And in terms of the taste, the food they prepare is really well done. We've never had anyone say their meal was anything but fantastic. The service is a little spotty and can sometimes disappear for... More

A great place to do more than just eat. A chef prepares your meal while you watch making your dining experience more entertaining. A nice reataurant for special occasions.

We celebrated a family birthday dinner at the downtown Japanese Village. The food is artfully prepared right before you eyes. Quite the entertaining show! Best to go in a group as each table seats 8 people and on busy nights they do fill them all up.
