Went to Hardware about a week ago with some friends for dinner and had one of the best meals I've ever had. A friend and I split the kobe beef carpaccio and the other guys split the scallops. The beef carpaccio was perhaps one of the best things I've ever tasted. Wine is very reasonably priced and the service was... More

Booked a 'special occasion' (4th time at restaurant) evening in July. The main course was tasty as usual. A bit disappointed that the desert menu was limited to 2 choices. Two of us for supper..........bill came to $230.00 with alcohol. Hadn't seen much of our waiter for most of the night, so provided a $20 tip. Waiter verbally stated his... More

Another great spot downtown that should be experienced at least once. Impressed with all aspects of the evening. No complaints, just great food and great service.

We have been almost annual visitors to this restaurant for 2 decades... although it has been a few years i was shocked to see the change in this place. what used to be a place where you dress up just to get in the door... seems to be no more. the place is noisy, we felt we were pushed to... More

A perfect way to spend my last night in Edmonton with someone special. It was their suggestion as they had been there before for a business holiday function. We had called mid afternoon to check on the reservation list to make sure we could get in about 9:15pm. We didn't actually make a reservation since we were informed that it... More

Lovely ambiance, waiter knew what he was talking about when it came to recommendations and wine pairings. Food was excellent, we enjoyed our night out.

Went on a date and they seemed to have lost our reservation but quickly accommodated us. We started off with some wine and risotto. Both were selected by our very knowledgable server. For dinner, I had the tenderloin while my fiancée had the elk. Both were amazing. Service was excellent - not that it was busy. Overall, I'd definitely recommend... More

This was my 3rd time at the Hardware Grill and this place never fails to disappoint. I have brought visitors from out of town each time and everyone has always walked away impressed and very satisfied. The food is always top-notch and the service is terrific as well. Twice I have had the Alberta Angus Beef Tenderloin and once I... More

Interesting menu and pleasant wine selection. The menu may be a bit 'heavy' on 'heavy' options eg aromatic sauce. Decor very good, but seating sometimes a bit close

Myself and a co-worker decided to visit the Hardware Grill in downtown Edmonton. Upon first look at the menu, I was a little turned off because of the high prices and was hoping that it would be worth it. They start you off with some freshly in-house baked white and whole wheat bread with a side plate of olive oil.... More
