We spent the evening of our 35th wedding anniversary at Cafe de Ville in Edmonton last night. It is a lovely spot with lots of internal charm while the traffic on 124th street speeds past. The server was friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The food (lamb for me; chicken for my wife) were both excellent. Parking is available nearby... More

We had a very nice evening at the Cafe de Ville. Located on the street level of an old building in the historic community of Glenora, this small cafe has a warm and nostalgic atmosphere. The dinner was well prepared. Menu choices are excellent with nightly specials. Desserts are excellent. Service is friendly but not intrusive.

I have eaten at Cafe De Ville More than once and have found the menu interesting and the food good. I particularly enjoy their brunch and especially the polenta souffle. The atmosphere is cozy and the coffee is good.

Why did it take me so long to visit this lovely little café in the High Street district? This is a wonderful cozy café to dine at with your girlfriends....or in my case, with my 90 year old aunt and my cousin. What I love about this café is how quiet it is. Although the place was very busy, you... More

The Café de Ville is one of our favorites because their menu is different and uncommon. This isn't your ordinary restaurant. However, know the food here is expensive so for us it must be a special occasion, The food is fresh, well-prepared and well presented. The four of us had the soup, and a chicken dish. In general, we all... More

My husband and I had dined at Cafe De Ville on two previous occasions, both time for brunch. As we both enjoyed the food and the service we couldn't wait to join our friends for brunch today. We were running late, but when I called the restaurant I was reassured that our table would be waiting. Upon arrival we were... More

I haven't been to Cafe de Ville in at least a decade. I'm not sure why not- we should have revisited sooner! We went this past weekend for a date night, and the food and service were excellent. The goat cheese tart appetizer with fig jam was delicious. I had a salad for dinner (not much anyone can rave about... More

Amazing night out, quality food and presentation and excellent drinks. I think the decor and service doesn't quiet meet up to the prestige this restaurant desires but I will make a point of taking other friends there as a great evening out.

Dined here for a business dinner. We came during the week and loved it. It's a really casual environment. It wasn’t that busy that evening, which made it nice as it wasn’t too loud. This is the sort of place that is higher on the price side, but has exceptional "classic" professional service. The food is fresh and quality and... More
