It's a nice change from the normal restaurants downtown

We went for lunch, it was very busy and we had made reservations anticipating it being busy. The food was great but not necessarily worth the price tag. You could tell that the food is prepared fresh. Would I go again, yes, but it hasn't made it to the list of my favorite places downtown. P.S... read more

A cute and slightly eccentric breakfast diner right on historic 104 St. The service was efficient, and the food was reasonably priced. Really not much to comment here as the food was generally unremarkable, however if you are looking for a decent classic western breakfast at a good price, this is a good place.

We had a very big, very good meal at this charmingly eccentric place. Local beers on tap and multiple vegetarian options were what encouraged us to come, and we're glad we did. Vegetarian shepherd's pie was especially tasty.

This is probably my favorite restaurant in Edmonton. Food is fresh, well-prepared and always spot on. Anytime I'm in town, I make a point to have dinner here. There are great vegetarian options here as well. The last time I visited, I had the meatloaf with roasted vegetables and a side of mac-n-cheese. Wine selection is great and changes regularly.... After walking around the downtown farmers market we decided to come here for breakfast. Loved the decore and the focus on locally grown produced ingredients. I had the eggs beneduckt - housemate duck confit with bbq sauce on English muffin serviced with out of this world BDF potatoes. Yummy.

We had a table of 11; and they were able to accommodate us which was great but the service was poor. We enjoyed the food, despite it taking forever to come out of the kitchen, and despite the fact that it looked like the restaurant was half empty. The food orders were mixed up (ie side dishes were mismatched on... More

Had lunch here with a friend. Food was fantastic. Everything I tried was superb. Good veggie options too. Highly recommended!

We always seek out locally owned establishments to eat at while on holiday. We decided to try the Blue Plate Diner for dinner on our last day EDM. It was Canada Day so we expected to wait but were seated right away. However, as we finished up dinner it was very busy with a line out the door. The service... More

Good food in sizeable portions in a very cool hipster type setting! I took my daughter there to celebrate her 19th birthday.... She's a burgeoning foodie and was very impressed with the food and ambiance! It's busy Saturday mornings but we did not have to wait long in the line up!
