We visit the red piano expecting average food and drinks and some entertainment, WRONG!! food was excellent, tapas are memorable and the wine selection is exquisite, service is good and kknowable of culture of wine and gastronomy, music was excellent, atmosphere is generally great, the bad: cover charge, repetitive money request for requesting songs, other than that, the place is... Our company booked the restaurant for the night along with the entertainment of two duelling pianos and 3 entertainers. The food, atmosphere, service and entertainment were second to none. Don't hesitate to go here. You won't be disappointed !

We went to The Red Piano for a friend's birthday party. We heard ahead of time that they had a strict dress code. Although I somewhat understand why this policy is in place, it seems quite pretentious, especially considering the demographic - we are in Edmonton – not Paris, Manhattan, or even Vancouver. We enjoy fine dining restaurants very much.... More

We attended the first whiskey dinner of The Red Piano. The dinner was a Irish-themed meat extravaganza. We arrived to a whiskey sour served with house-made chips with smoked oyster dip. So good and I had no idea that I liked whiskey sours! Each course afterward was accompanied by a shot of increasing quality Glenlivet whiskeys. The first course was... More

Tuesdays of karaoke are the best! They have a great band and you can go and sing with them! :) plus the food is delicious! We had the salmon and steak it wasn't best ones but it was ok! The sangria was great and they have a lot of options for beer! It's a great opportunity for a girls night... More

Below is the email I wrote to the owner Morris Blayways after our experience, you be the judge. Dear Mr. [--], I would like to inform you that your attempt to destroy our evening of celebration of a culmination of family birthdays was unsuccessful. Although upon arriving at the Red Piano we were insulted by one of your door people... More

From the moment we arrived my party and I were treated like royalty. We were given the best seats in the house. Our server was amazing, our glasses were never dry. The food was fantastic. If you are a fan of spaghetti and meatballs (my fav), order the Kobe Spaghetti and Meatballs, you will not be disappointed. Others in my... More

I wish the pianists would stick to the original song lyrics instead of changing every line into asking for a tip. Even when they were paid a tip for that song. If I tipped for my song request I would just want the original song and not have them ask for more money from the audience.

Friends of mine planned a night months ago out for 8 of us (some out of town). We had hoped for a night out and a nice dinner. Showed up for our reservation at 745. Our one friend was immediately denied entry due to his canvas shoes (100 dollars and NOT "SNEAKERS"). No questions asked just a rude suggestion that... More

I would love to be able to tell you about the atmosphere, entertainment, food etc. but our group didn't get 5 feet in the door before we demanded our cover charge back. My bridesmaids had planned a great night out for my bachelorette party that included the show and drinks at The Red Piano as we've never been there before.... More
