We stumbled upon this restaurant while looking for a place to have lunch before a medical appointment downtown. What a great surprise! The food was delicious, great service and a wonderful relaxing atmosphere. We will be going back for sure, maybe for dinner this time!

First I would like to say that this is one of my husband's favourite restaurants and we had been to their previous location a few times before they moved and before I became a Trip Advisor member. I thought it would be great to come back here. When I called for a reservation, the hostess informed me that we could... More

We came here for goose dinner for a treat for Christmas. We were disappointed with the goose because it was a little dried out. It probably wasn't the cook's fault. Getting geese tender these days is hard job. At least the skin was crispy which is the way I like my skin. That being said, we came here for lunch... More

Without a doubt, one of my favourite restaurants in the city . I have eaten here many times over the past 20 years, and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is so homey, and you feel like you are in Europe. My favourite dish is the Weiner Schnitzel. Can't go wrong with this.

in 1981 I had for the first time a steak tartar in the Bistro (it was around the corner in those the and the original owner was still alive) As I love steak tartar but had been often disappointed with the quality of the meat or the way it was prepared. What an excellent meal I had at the Bistro... More

First of all I have to say that I miss the greater warmth of this bistro's former location which was close to its current one. I ate there recently with two colleagues and I found the menu, the quality and the service as it has been over the last 30 years: simply amazing. We had one of the house specialties:... More

Two words: steak tartar! I have introduced several friends to the Bistro Praha's steak tarter and turned believers into all of them. Other favourites include the traditional Wiener schnitzel and the cordon bleu schnitzel. I prefer these accompanied with the pan friend potatoes. It comes with potato salad, which is tasty, but very rich. I love their tomato and onion... More

Order the steak tartar (appetizer sized); or the Schnitzel. You will never forget it, your mouth will beg you to return. The nice atmosphere and highly professional service will encorage you too.

I was looking for a place for a business dinner and so I used a trusted source (Trip Advisor) to find somewhere with hearty food. If you walked down the sidewalk and saw this restaurant from the outside, you would never go in. It is a bit of a hidden gem. The Austrian/Czech decor was very outdated but the food... More

I am delighted that Bistro Praha is operating again. I used to eat here back in the '80's and it is still one of my favorites in Edmonton. After visiting Prague, I am even more impressed. The steak tartare is always a favorite and the schnitzel is excellent (but a very large portion). The atmosphere is casual. Our group was... More
