Great Food

Had a steak with wild rice pilaf. It was cooked to perfection and very thick. Rice was fantastic as well. The only downside was our server. He was friendly and fairly promp, but didn't bother to explain anything on the menu. We were eavesdropping on the table across from us. That being said... read more

The bar was noisy, but the food was good. I thought it was overpriced because of the atmosphere. However, the steak and everything else was done to perfection and we enjoyed the meal. The service was poor as the girl was being trained. Otherwise, it was excellent

Siting here in the bar not more than 20 people and it has taken the table 15 to 20 minutes to get first round of drinks. Staff doesn't seem to care and looks like they're there to socialize. Dreadful service speed relative to other chop locations. If you're looking to drop in for a quick drink look elsewhere.

The open faced prime rib is actually real melt in your mouth prime rib. The French onion is to die for. Every morsel is worth every penny. Visiting on business but look forward to coming back as I'm here in Canada often.

We celebrated a friend's birthday at Chop on Saturday evening. We were seated at a long table in the lounge. We found it to be very noisy and the waitress unbelievably overworked. She did her absolute best to provide good service but with taking orders, serving drinks, appetizers and meals, then clearing the used dishes she had no help from... More

It's a pretty darn good steak, but they tend to overcook them. I've ordered medium twice, got well done twice. On my second trip, the other two in my party had the same problem. Even the medium rare steak was cooked through. That being said, the steak still stands pretty well on its merits. Service is solid, prices are pretty... More

We went here for dinner on a Tuesday night. It is a fair size restaurant with mostly booth seating which was nice for privacy. When we were deciding what to order the server offered us advice that ended up being incorrect and costing us more money. We ordered the small/starter caesar salad and the small wedge salad. Both salads were... More

My wife and I dined here on a Monday night. It was surprisingly busy. There was a conference or something going on in the hotel. The service was attentive, despite the full restaurant, and our food arrived fairly quickly. Unfortunately, though, our steaks were not cooked correctly. My wife likes medium well and got medium rare, which is what I... More

A light supper here, having only appetizers and no drinks. Staff friendly and fairly quick. Although i get the short skirt and heels thing, is that really what you want your server walking around in? i dunno- i think safety of more practical shoes would be better. i was honestly concerned for our girls' safety on her wobbly little stilts....
