The Continental Treat Restaurant is a family affair. Two generations of the Borowka Family work together to bring their romantic turn of the century dining vision to life. Owners Ryszard and Helena Borowka and their son Sylvester Borowka oversee the entire operation. Ela Palmowski is the Executive Chef together with sous chefs Maria Palkowska, Bartosz Beresinski, Alexandr Oleineac, and Dusten Dixon. This international team of sous chefs are constantly innovating our menu. Other talented sous chefs joining us this year; Attilla Szabo from Hungary, Zdenek Holub from Czech Republic, Helmut Schumacher from Switzerland and Alexader Davidoff from Russia. Christopher Czapiga and Cindy Oland are the hosts who will welcome you gracefully on any occasion. The ambiance is one of pure charm, combined with an air of luxury and elegance. I had the special of the night called the Hunter's Plate. Beef cubes and polish sausage piled high and cooked to perfection. Paired that with a delicious malbec and topped it all off with some apple strudel. The meal was fantastic and the service was great. I had a fabulous time and I look forward to going back. Highly recommended!!!

The first time I ate here was at the invitation of friends who live in Edmonton. I had the beet soup and Hungarian goulash -- both were as good as anything I had had in eastern Europe. My second visit to Continental Treat was equally satisfying. I had the sauerkraut and potato soup but the waitress was kind enough to... More

This restaurant must be reserved beforehand. You'll realize why when you taste the fantastic food. We were there last night and both of us had Pickle soup, so delicious, and veal schnitzel with mushroom sauce and choice of potato, with a small pickled salad. I could eat this homemade meal everyday! My husband had a stein of on tapGerman beer.... More

Heard a lot of great reviews. The food was ok but I definetly have had much better. Overpriced..The white tablecloths are a nice touch. Service was good.

Very relaxing restaurant. Not hurried along. Food is excellent and unique. Eastern European so there aren't many places you can get a lot of the dishes. One being the pickle soup and it is so good. I don't like pickles! I have a hard time deciding what to order. You will need a reservation for a Friday or Saturday. A... More

Quaint little place, nice atmoshere .... food is above average and my wife and I always enjoy our meal here. Service is excellent and friendly, prices are fair. The main reason we make a trip to dine here is we're in the mood for French Onion Soup. It's the BEST anywhere that I'm aware of and you can actually eat... More

There are often coupons (Groupon's) for this restaurant, but don't let that fool you about the quality. It is excellent. And, if it is your first time there, they will treat you to a bowl of their super delicious pickle soup - just ask!
