Great Ambiance and Food!

My wife and I stopped here later on a Sunday night and had a delightful experience! All of the server recommendations were spot on (we ordered a chartreuse platter and some wine). Everything was delicious. The server was knowledgable and the service was relaxed. Definitely recommend!

Went to the Bothy for a nice night out on the town. Being a wine and whiskey bar I wasn't expecting it to be cheap and the prices are inline with other places, and considering the selection of single malts I am quite willing to pay the price for drinks. The food selections are limited and the portions are a... More

This place has a great selection of scotch and a really eclectic menu. I met some business associates for dinner here and it was the perfect place. There are a lot of really interesting dishes on the menu but I tried the beef cheek and was impressed! It was my first time at The Bothy, but not my last!

We visited the Bothy on 124th Street on a Thursday night for drinks with friends. We all had wine which you can buy by the glass or bottle. We also had the Charcuterie plate ; 2 cheeses, 2 meats and the pate. We asked the waitress for her recommendations and she was quite helpful. Everything on the plate was quite... More

We visited the Bothy on 124 st. on Sunday evening, for a romantic dinner. The service was wonderful...we ordered a whiskey and a cocktail, and asked the waitress to recommend cheeses for the charcuterie plate we were ordering. She recommended two cheeses that complimented our meats, neither of which we had ever heard of, and they were absolutely spot on... More

I've been here on numerous occasions and can't believe I haven't written a review of it yet. Good place to go with friends, family or for business because it's small and quiet. Yes it's a bit pricey but the wines and scotches are fantastic - incredibly varied selection of both. The food is delicious - I've had the meat and... More

The 124th Street Bothy- The food far exceeded my expectations. A risotto with wild mushrooms topped with short ribs - friend has a huge bowl of tomato soup - everything was exceptional. Service is frustratingly slow, they need to explain how long the food orders are going to take and be a bit more attentive. Overall I would return and... More

Four of us recently had dinner and drinks at the South side location. All in all we had a pretty good experience and enjoyed some nice wines and good food. The Tapas which should be for sharing in our view had portions that seemed to be quite small and relatively expensive. We were served by a very pleasant server who... More

The food is good. The wines and scotch are very nice. But the prices are higher than we expected. A small glass of wine is $12 (minimum) and a small plate of cheese is $19. The atmosphere is fine (strip mall) and the service is good. We will probably find a similar place with lower prices. Look for an online... More

This was my first trip to The Bothy, and it didn't disappoint. The food was amazing! We had the Bothy Club sandwich and the Tomato Bacon Soup. The Alaskan Crab dip as a starter was also outstanding. The wine selection was great albeit a tad bit pricy, but I liked that they made custom 2 oz wine flights for you... More
