Not only does this feature exquisite dining, it is spectacular Turkish Food. It is a favourite for personal and business dining. The appetizers & dips are out of this world

Ours was a party of four, with advance reservations. This is a tidy, attractive, but not over-the-top restaurant, and we were taken up a short flight of stairs to a small balcony area with only a few tables. Ours overlooked the foyer and main dining area - a perfect spot. The server was lovely, pleasant and helpful. This needs to... More

We had great customer service at sofra and I really enjoyed the soft warm hand rolled pita with rich feta dip! I had a beef skewer and my husband had the lamb. The beef was perfectly seasoned and the lamb was tender, the sides was also very flavorfull. Overall I did find the food to be a little oily but... More

We went have supper and we really enjoy it. It is not really fancy and tables are close to each others but we went late on Sunday so there was not many people. All what we ordered was so good. I want to go back so bad.... the problem is I live north and downtown seem so far to go... More

I just heard about this restaurant a couple of months ago, and I've been back several times since. I want to take everyone I know to this place. It's what you expect a great restaurant should be. This service is great but the food will keep you coming back again and again.

Where do I start? The service is good, but the food is truly amazing. The chef/owner is from Turkey and the food is insanely beautiful, traditional and oh so tasty. My favourite is their version of pita (think light, fluffy and covered in sesame seeds) and their dips. Entrees are fantastic, but the appetizers are inspired. While their chairs are... More

We celebrated two anniversaries at Sofra's recently. Everything was excellent from the appetizer to the desert to the service and watching the owner prepare and cook the meals. We started with the fresh made pita chips and choose the home made dips, humus, red pepper and date. All were fabulous. Our entrees included two shrimp dishes, two beef tenderloin and... More

Three years ago when I visited from Nova Scotia a friend took me to dinner at Sofra. The whole experience was wonderful. I had the good fortune to eat there again last week. As I had three years ago, I felt as if the chef (owner) was welcoming me to his home rather than his restaurant. The food, I ate... More

Went for dinner with husband. Had 2 beers, one appetizer and to entrees. $100 meal. Pita with dips really good but not sure worth $27. Filet overcooked, well done instead of medium. Prices have increased since they first opened. Eggplant dip no longer on the menu.

I went there with friends last night. We shared a bunch of dishes so I was able to taste the lamb loin, chicken, shrimp and swordfish. It all tasted so good. The lamb was so tender and tasty. The chicken blew me away...it melted in your mouth! We also tried a few appetizers...the apricot appetizer was unbelievable. The fresh hummus... More
