If you're looking for a real country bar, this is not it! Sure, it's decorated to the 9's with saddles, signs and everything to make you feel like you're in a country bar. The country music stops at 11pm and they turn on top 40 so that every 17 year old in the place will flock to the dancefloor. Real... More

I have been to Ranchman's on two different occasions will definitely not be returning. Staff are so incredibly rude, I've never experienced worse treatment at a bar. Here's one example - I approached the bar and asked for a glass of water. The bar tender asked me for ID, and after giving it to him I casually mentioned to my... More

Great cowboy bar, lots to look at and quite entertaining, but had to wait half hr before finally going and getting someone to serve our us, took 15 mins every time we ordered a drink, then the food took an hr for a few starters. Then the hostess had the nerve to complain that we didn't give her a tip.... More

If you're looking for some authentic cowboys, the best country music there is, and a night you'll NEVER forget, head to Ranchman's! It doesn't get much better - two-stepping, line dancing, mechanical bull riding (watch out - you'll be sore the day after...or the week after - personal experience from my most recent birthday!). The best time to go is... More

Be prepared to be ripped off!! I was at the Ranch last Saturday night with a group of girls for a Stagette. My daughter knows the place very well and she organized the event. I had a few arguments with the girls looking after out table as we had a difference of opinion on what I was being served as... More

Ranchman's is as country as they come, I had such a great night! The drinks are reasonably priced and the place is quite large, accommodating for large crowds. It has an outside area which is not really used on colder nights. The dance floor is AWESOME and country music is played all night. You can't go without having a ride... More

Last visited Ranchmans 8 years ago. I was on an extended vacation in Calgary and loved this place. It WAS a great place to go and listen to country music and dance/watch the dancing. Also to get some great food. I have now come back to Canada and drove down from Edmonton to visit Calgary. This was to be a... More

I was a little hesitant at first to go here. But once settled and we ordered we were served very quickly. The Potatoe skins are absolutely amazing with a 1,2 Knock out for taste and cooked to perfection. The beer is also reasonabley priced. Had an enjoyable evening fun of Bull riding and Dancing afterwards. Left very content with this... More
