After a friend raved about his Alloy experience I thought I'd give it a try. I had been looking forward to eating at Alloy for months (I had specifically chosen it for a celebratory dinner) and so my expectations were possibly inflated. The location was more of a turn-off than I thought it would be (who puts a fancy restaurant... More

We had a great dinner the other night here. 5 out of 5 in the group loved their meal. Lamb chops were perfectly cooked. Portions aren't massive but reasonable combined with an appetizer. Staff was friendly and they have a nice patio on the back.

I have been to Alloy many times and I have enjoyed it very much. Excellent food and service. At my latest visit (a few days ago) I was slightly put off by slow service and main course (halibut) which was not as hot as I would have liked (aka luke warm) though it was very nicely cooked and presented. We... More

I will never return and do not suggest you try this restaurant except if you like poor, overly-salted and overly priced food.

We read numerous reviews about this restaurant, and decided to go there for my birthday! They greeted us with a glass of Prosecco (as first time attendees) to welcome us to the restaurant. This was a very nice touch, and showed their appreciation for their customers. Our server was lovely and very sweet and patient with our many questions about... More

Unfortunately, the manager opted to have the outdoor patio power washed at noon on the Friday I chose to take my husband to lunch. We listened to the electric motor grind away all during our lunch. The manager made no apologies as he had an event coming up on the patio. Sad that Calgarians put up with such total disregard for... More

It's not in a downtown location. It's in the middle of an industrial-ish neighbourhood. If you can get past that, there's much here to be desired. First - the interior is beautiful. Not quiet, and if your idea of luxury is overstuffed, this isn't the place for you, but it is beautiful. Without question, the interior is a contemporary take... More

I dined here with 4 friends on a Tuesday evening. It is not the kind of place you would just stop in at as it does not look like much from the outside. It is a standalone building with an ample parking lot. The inside was toasty warm and very hip. The service was excellent and food very fresh and... More
