As usual the line is long but it moves fast. This wonderful kebab shop delivers. Last time I was there I saw 7 spinning spits with various meats, chicken, beef and lamb. It's all good here. Huge portions. Only downfall is the patio ( minuscule) is always full so we end up eating in the car. Great selection of middle... More

Poor service, shawarma lacking meat and accompaniment. Way over priced for what is offered.I used to eat at A&A when it was on 14th Street much much better way back then. Will not bother going back the pita basket downtown far better with nice accompaniments and for way less money. .

It's great to see a local business thrive over the years and best of all, retain quality and value of the food. The only thing I miss about going to Jimmy's is seeing Jimmy and hearing his crazy banter. Jimmy's started out as a single location and now has branched out into 2. The original store has been fixed up... More

Stopped at Jimmy's for lunch. The place isn't much to look at, just a deli with some tables and chairs outside, but the food was spectacular. My husband and I ordered a donair (beef) gyro and a shawarma (chicken) gyro; they were huge (a pound of meat on each) and we could have easily split one. I had never tried either... More

The donairs here are unbeatable. The quantity of food you get is insane, a large donair can feed two people. When you walk in, it definitely feels family owned and operated, everyone is incredibly friendly! Definitely come here if you're looking for delicious shawarmas or donairs that you'll remember

Went here for the first time with friends, and the long wait was not a problem at all. The authentic smell of the huge assortment of foods made up for the wait. The funny cashier was the cherry on top, very enthusiastic!

I have been eating at Jimmy's for years and consistently it has been great. The owner is the sweetest lady and reminds me of my mom every time she makes my food.

If you're in the mood for donairs and/or shawarmas you are amiss not to visit Jimmy's. I have tried many different places in many different cities and these folks really know how to do it right. It's not pretty to look at but the food is spectacular. It's the only place I'll go to in Calgary.

Stop here and be amazed! The food in here is to die for, especially the pistachio rolls! Look around and indulge in middle eastern delights in every corner. Jimmy is a real guy who put his heart into his store. His mom made the pastries upstairs in what was once an apartment. I visit as often as my beltline will... More

Don't let appearances fool you as it did me. This little gem is located in a residential area and from the exterior, it looks like a convenience store. When we went inside, I initially only observed the schwarma rotisseries, but then noticed that there were samosas, a large selection of olives, salads, dips ( hummus, etc), and meditteranian sweets. I... More
