Located close to the corner of Glenmore and Macleod we are Calgary's first Brazilian BBQ style restaurant. At Bolero the customer is in charge of the timing on our wide selection of churrasco(skewers) to be brought to your table by our Gaucho Chefs. Green means go and Red means stop. A perfect setting for any festive occasion as we offer a wide range of different, cocktails, wine, and beer. Dining with friends and family was meant to be fun, the Brazilian way!

Have become overpriced over the years.

So unless you can eat a whole pile of delicious and amazing animal's carcasses, I recommend going to the competition a few minutes away. I would still recommend this... More

This place is quite an interesting experience. Servers come to your table with a variety of meats for you to try on sword like things. There is a lot of variety so be sure to go hungry! There is also a buffet for your salad and starch items (loved the coconut rice!). It is a bit expensive, but worth the... More

We had been here more than 10 years ago and decided to go again for our anniversary. Ordered the full experience and although the food was okay, I can't say I feel like we truly got our money's worth. The ribs were so dry I couldn't even eat them, and the chicken was also dry. I was disappointed in the... More

Went there for our anniversary dinner. Went "Full Rodizio"....which is their salad/hot dish bar plus the rotisserie meat. There are 5 kinds of beef, two pork, lamb, sausage, chicken wings, bacon wrapped chicken and caramelized pineapple. The salad part of the salad bar was average in selections....reduced greatly from when I was there about 10 years ago. The hot dishes... More

Had brunch May 3rd. at Bolero. Reservation for 11:30 AM. All breakfast items that I had were cold and most were dried out. Restaurant is upstairs at Smuggler's. Very dark. Perhaps dinner would be good here but brunch was a total waste of money.

The service was awesome ! We were not happy with the table we got and the servers where way more than happy to assist us, the waiter said "just grab your plates" he had new drink and the table set up for us, with a smile on the face. The food was amazing, they had sea food, so fresh I... More

A group of us went out for a friends Birthday to Bolero and it was fantastic!!! It's definitely not a place To go if you want to get in, eat, and leave. It was more of an evening out and you get to sit and enjoy yourself. The food is wonderful I can't wait to return.

We went to Bolero tonight and it was was truly awful. Meat was raw, not rare but raw. Beef, lamb and bacon were just not cooked. Our plate of discarded fat and raw meat had more on it than we ate. Very expensive for low quality, poorly cooked meat. We will never go back.

Headed here at the request of my son, who wanted to go for his 18th birthday meal. Had experienced Brazilian meals at all-inclusives, but never 'the real thing'. Excellent selection of meats, some were better than others. Really enjoyed the parmesan garlic beef, the lamb loin, the bacon wrapped tenderloin. There was something for everyone with pork and chicken on... More

This entire event was outstanding! Although they started a little late (they had to prepour all the the wine), they apologized and thanked us profusely for attending. We were seated with another couple (we didn't know) but thoroughly enjoyed their company. The manager of Bolero attended to each table, and other managers of the Smugglers group were in attendance and... More
