Located close to the corner of Glenmore and Macleod we are Calgary's first Brazilian BBQ style restaurant. At Bolero the customer is in charge of the timing on our wide selection of churrasco(skewers) to be brought to your table by our Gaucho Chefs. Green means go and Red means stop. A perfect setting for any festive occasion as we offer a wide range of different, cocktails, wine, and beer. Dining with friends and family was meant to be fun, the Brazilian way!

Good food, good atmosphere, good experience.

Headed here at the request of my son, who wanted to go for his 18th birthday meal. Had experienced Brazilian meals at all-inclusives, but never 'the real thing'. This entire event was outstanding! Although they started a little late (they had to prepour all the the wine), they apologized and thanked us profusely for attending. We were seated with another couple (we didn't know) but thoroughly enjoyed their company. The manager of Bolero attended to each table, and other managers of the Smugglers group were in attendance and... More

We had a very enjoyable evening celebrating a birthday. Excellent side dishes and a wide selection of barbecued meats which arrived at the table without interruption. A veritable meat eaters, paradise, plentiful and tasty. Arrive hungry and you wont be disappointed. The servers made us feel comfortable and welcomed even on a busy evening. Ask for a booth seat at... More

We went for Christmas party, 20 of us and the food was good, good service and never waited for service or food to come our way. we closed the place down and was not push or rush to leave. Also been there a few time with 2 to 4 people and the same.

To my mind, it's more like a Bonanza or Golden Corral, but a lot more expensive. Sure, they bring a lot of meat around, but it's not really delicious meat; it's just a lot of meat. I found the rib eye the most flavoursome. The lamb shoulder is tough and stringy, but it is when I grill it myself too.... More

If you're willing to splurge a bit of cash, this place is well worth it. Over 20 skewers of delicious meat, garlic buns and grilled pineapple. The atmosphere is moody and romantic, well worth it to treat that special someone in your life!

I have been to this restaurant many times and always enjoy it. We went on a weekday this time and I really enjoyed how quiet it was. In addition since it was less busy the servers came to our table more often. There was a slight decrease in the variety of foods out since it was slower but our waiter... More

Would say that Bolero is really good. However, we have eaten at a few Brazilian restaurants in the US and would say they are better. Have eaten at Gaucho in Canmore and would say that Bolero is better. The let down really at Bolero is the salad buffet. I felt that it was slightly better at Gaucho and in comparison... More
