I try and go to this restaurant every time I am in Calgary. They have great food, atmosphere and service. The prices are excellent - you won't be disappointed.

I am not a difficult person to please so when I give a bad review it is serious. We were sat, given drinks, an appetizer, buns and our food within 15 minutes of arriving at the restaurant. It seemed rather rushed. The best dish we had was mediocre at best. The other two dishes were so salty they were almost... More

After finding that at least the top 15 Italian Restaurants in Calgary were fully booked for Saturday night, I finally found Why Not Italian available. As per the following, you will easily see why. Prime dinner time at 7:30 saw about 6 out of 25 tables being used; usually a real bad sign. Firstly, we were seated in the corner... More

This restaurant is situated at close to the highest elevation in the city, and there's only one way to go if you don't keep up with your reputation; DOWN!! We have been going to it for as long as it's been open, about 25 years. It is close to home, the parking is easy, the food was always good, and... More

We live a few blocks away, and have popped in several times for a really good pasta dinner. When the kids were young, we tended not to go just because it is so quiet and a pleasant ambience, with white table cloths. (we usually avoided white table cloths with our young kids). Now that the kids are teenagers we love... More

It's worth the trip. Have been here twice, it's so good. Hidden in a corner of a non-descript little strip mall, with Free Parking. The ambiance is pleasant, the service is good, the food is excellent and the prices are a little higher than they should be. But it's great to go there to be with friends. Reservations are recommended... More

I used to work in the area and have been to this restaurant several times, I'm only now getting around to reviewing it since visiting with my wife. The has always been, continues to be, and hopefully always will be excellent. It's a little on the pricey side, but not unreasonable ($25 or so per entree). The service is somewhat... More

You would definitely be missing a real gem if you didn't choose this Italian restaurant. 4 of us arrived without reservations Saturday evening, early and was seated immediately even though the place was quite busy. An advert for special of the day caught my eye but my fellow guests ordered off the menu. We each had just a main dish... More

Happy to see a few others had a positive time here from seeing the reviews - we did not and I could never recommend this spot to anyone. Ever. I was going to give it a 2 star - until my husband and I got very ill on our way home after eating here. We had made it a point... More
