Visited the Vintage Chop House on Friday night after suggestions that they had the best steak in Calgary. I must say if they call that good steak, I think the chefs should go back to culinary school. Myself and my date both started off the evening with a beer. Holy $$, $8.50 for CDN Draft, I don't think I've paid... More

Had a really good steak here with great sides. Good waiter, not intrusive like past waiters here. Ease up on the salt please - drank a liter of water later trying to quench the thirst.

Took all my male cousins out for dinner. Fantastic steaks and service to match. We were seated in the Beringer room which had great atmosphere. Perfect for private dining.

I would expect better from a chophouse, and will chaulk it up to perhaps hitting them on a off night. It's very impressive to come out showcasing your cuts of meat to your customers in order to select, but you better back that up with cooking them to perfection, sadly not the case here. My wife's tenderloin had to be... More

Elegant atmosphere and friendly service, the beef tartare was superb and the salmon steak one of the juiciest ever. Good wine but pricy. Just looked at the steaks my friends were eating but they looked superb

If you are going to choose a venue to eat Alberta beef, this is it! The atmosphere is warm and elegant, the staff are professionals who carry a wealth of knowledge about the products they are offering and the steaks are from another world. My cut of meat was so delicious that it will make it difficult for me to... More

I called in advance to make a reservation for my 5 year anniversary/engagement dinner. I simply asked if they had something more private for my occasion, and I let them know that it was an important day for me and my soon to be fiancé. The girl I talked to on the phone was very accommodating, offering a "special table"... More

I came here on a business dinner and we had the secluded room in the centre of the restaurant. I was impressed the moment the gentleman in the white coat brought over the insanely large cutting board of meats showing the offerings of the day. My steak was amazing and I remember the sides were just to die for. The... More

I was told that Calgarians were very serious about their meat and this restaurant was highly recommended by a hotel food manager in Vancouver. It was everything you would expect in an outstanding steak house. The kobe cousin was probably the best steak I have ever had and I wound up finishing my wife's very excellent filet.
