Extremely Good All Round

Five of us visited for lunch today. We sat on the delightful rooftop patio - enjoying the fresh air and sunny weather. Three of us had the seared ahi tuna which was beautifully presented and very tasty....still pink in the middle and exactly as I like it. Two had steak with vegetables and fries and... read more

The steak was pretty good. Way too expensive for the experience. The staff was really rude and felt really awkward. Not asking us if we were done .. And if we want the bill. He just came with the machine and wanted us out as soon as possible. We were polite and saying thank you as much as possible even... More

I have read and heard reviews about this place from visitors and locals. Although most of them have been favourable, I feel that I can't wholeheartedly support the rave reviews. Yes, the steak was fantastic. But you're in Alberta, I've enjoyed steak at other well rated establishments that are more reasonably priced and I honestly doubt I would be able... More

You think during stampede, restaurants would bring their A Game. Not so at Vintage. Upon arrival we were told dining room was closed. This despite the fact that several parties were seated and at least one was still there when we left 2 hours later. In any case we were seated in the bar area with the same menu, just... More

Went here for my birthday, they make such a big deal about their steaks but it honestly just tasted kind of unusual. The keg or earls or saltlik is better in my opinion. Also their fries were not very good, and the service a bit slow.

All courses, all menu items that our table for 8 had were top notch and way above average for a quality steak house. Several of us had the wagu beef. Unbelievable and prepared to perfection. For me, this is the best steak house in Calgary.

We wanted Alberta beef, and we got it! My husband had a New York steak, and I had prime rib. Both were delicious. The restaurant has a clubby feel with lots of wood and dim lights. The food is expensive but the price didn't seem to have much effect on patronage since the restaurant was full on a week night.

You cannot go wrong with the service, food and wine at the Vintage, the complete menu is well planned for any and all tastes. I would suggest making reservations. The entrance seating area in front of the bar offers a good place to wait for company and have a good cocktail waiting for your table. This place makes you feel... More

This restaurant has it all going on. The atmosphere and ambiance was perfect for fine dining. The service was exceptional and the food was outstanding. I recommend this restraunt without any reservations. I had a braised short rib. The meat was tender and the sauce was heavenly.

I have travelled all over the world and usually love finding good steak restaurants to go to. Everywhere my wife and I go we compare the steaks to Vintage. So far, nothing has compared. Every time I come I get the filet and it is cooked to perfection and the red wine demi sauce is just amazing. Also, the truffle... More
