I came here on a business dinner and we had the secluded room in the centre of the restaurant. I was impressed the moment the gentleman in the white coat brought over the insanely large cutting board of meats showing the offerings of the day. My steak was amazing and I remember the sides were just to die for. The... More

I was told that Calgarians were very serious about their meat and this restaurant was highly recommended by a hotel food manager in Vancouver. It was everything you would expect in an outstanding steak house. The kobe cousin was probably the best steak I have ever had and I wound up finishing my wife's very excellent filet.

To start with - I love steak. The problem is that I like my meat cooked at least to Medium Well or even Well Done. Unfortunately very few places can do that properly. So when our server showed us all the cuts and explained what could be done with the cuts and how they should be cooked for the best... More

From greeting on entry to farewell on leaving the staff at Vintage could not be faulted and honestly, the food was superb. Thanks for a great Alberta steak experience!

I've been here twice now and both times really enjoyed my meal. Steaks are awesome, sides are yummy and there's a good wine list with lots of options. Ambience is modern with old school jazz touches and the staff knowledgeable and friendly. Try the Vintage Caesar - surely a solid contender in this year's competition!

I have been to several nice restaurants in Calgary on business but this by far is the best for a traditional steakhouse. I went with a group of 20 in a reserved private room. The white coat service was amazing; numerous waiters arrived at the same time to deliver food to every guest so that there would be no waiting... More

Vintage may just be my favorite restaurant in Calgary. We choose this restaurant above all others, especially when hosting folks from out-of-town, because we know we can count on a ‘five-star’ dining experience and are leaving nothing to chance. The wine list is huge, the menu varied and there are lots of interesting sides to choose from. The crab cakes... More

The place is not pretentious, nor highly decorated, nor over the top. I it just simple, but the steak is amazing. I ordered the tenderloin , a.k.a. filet mignon, and it was tender, perfectly cooked. The steak fries were huge. Service is friendly, in classical Alberta fashion. Definitely a great place to experience Certified Alberta Beef.

While visiting Calgary, we thought we'd better get out and have some big meat. We had rib eyes and they were good but not the best we had. Also ordered the much touted lobster mashed potatoes. We found them okay but a but gummy. Service was very good. Our steaks were not done properly the first time and this was... More
