If you are wiling to pay a big dollar for a great steak, this is an excellent choice. They age their beef and it's special. Service meets expectations for a special evening. Overall, a memorable meal. My wife thinks it's better to just buy a great piece of meat and cook it yourself with a wine off your shelf, but... More

If you're in the mood for a really good piece of Steak - this is where you want to go. The prices can get a tad bit expensive. I was there the other day, and had the Prawn Capanelli. Other than the prawns being a tad overcooked - but still super delicious and completely edible - I had one of... More

As anyone who lives in Calgary knows, our restaurants are not known for their service. Well the Vintage Chophouse is a typical example of that. We were a group of 10 there for dinner, which means they automatically add a tip of 18% to the bill. Our waiter was SOOOO RUDE, I wouldn't have tipped him 18 cents. The food... More

My husband and I ate at Vintage and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. My husband said the steak was one of the best steaks he's ever had. We also appreciated the service. It was nice having a server who was knowledgeable about the product. Also, I liked that the servers bring out sample cuts of the steaks to show what the... More

Popped in to Vintage Chophouse this past week on the suggestion of Amanda, my Conciege, at Le Germain. She did not steer me wrong. I called ahead and they held a table for me near the bar. It was only 6:00pm. The restaurant was packed within an hour. I was fortunate to have Lani as my Server. This woman is... More

My friends and I decided to try Vintage for its Wagyu steak. It was $70 per steak, and therefore we expected the best. The steak came with a side (which are usually $10 if ordered separately), but we upgraded to a premium side (which was about $15 or so). First of all, we expected that the waiter charge only the... My wife, daughter and I took our son out to celebrate his 25th birthday, last night. We were greeted at the front door by a smiling host, who cheerfully took our coats. The restaurant was warm and inviting, with the fragrant aroma of beef and other savoury treats emanating from the kitchen. After our drink order, a very sharply dressed... More

My parents had travelled to visit me here in Calgary. So they wanted to go for steak so I brought them to what people tell me is the best steak house in Calgary. And the people of Calgary were not lying. The waiters bring a wooden block that showcases the steaks that you can order, and they tell you about... More

I visited this restaurant with my wife during a recent visit to Calgary, we received a very friendly welcome and we were shown to our table quickly. Our waiter was very efficient and able to advise us on a very good selection of wine. The onion soup starter was very good but the lamb chops that my wife selected were... More
