Creative, excellent rack of lamb and very imaginative sides. The room is outstandingly beautiful, with lots of ambiance. It was quiet enough to have a pleasant conversation with my spouse.

We recently celebrated our anniversary at Belvedere and enjoyed a lovely evening. My entree, the lamb, was amazing. My husband had the Beef Wellington and enjoyed it but was not overwhelmed. Our margaritas unfortunately tasted strongly of lime cordial. We had some awesome wine however and the sticky toffee pudding for dessert was delicious.

The Belvedere has a beautiful classic patio that sets it apart from other restaurants on the mall. The menu is very exquisite and the wine list is also unique. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Portions are nicely served and reasonable. The menu is also reflective of Calgary, with lots of local ingredients. The inside area... Up from Denver for Stampede and was looking for a fantastic meal. We were not disappointed. We started with an Amuse-Bruche of sun dried tomato and bacon from the chef. Next on to an amazing trio of tartare (beef, bison and venison), prepared perfectly. Just the right combination of garlic and herbs. For an entree I chose the Beef Wellington.... More

The French style with creative local and seasonal influence has long made this my favorite restaurant in Calgary. I had another wonderful meal for my birthday, although there was one critical mistake that surprised me. For appetizers we enjoyed the greens, as well as the creative and stunning asparagus and scallops, a very refreshing summer appetizer. I also ordered the... More

My friends and I try out a new restaurant when we meet every month. We picked Belvedere in June 2014. The waiter, Terry, started off with good service, however, as the evening progressed, he got very grumpy and started throwing things at the table instead of serving us!!! While his service was still good durng main course, our attention was... More

I came in for the 3 course business lunch and the service was spot on, The portions were more generous than any fine dining establishment I have dined at. I was very impressed, I will be back😀

My co-workers and I came here for lunch during Big Taste Calgary week. We all got the fixed menu with foie gras creme brulee and salad, beef tenderloin with bacon and a chocolate mouse. The food was excellent. The server Francois was nice and courteous. The restaurant was packed during the lunch rush but we did not have to wait... More

We visited the Belvedere, after reading wonderful reviews, this last weekend. Really, nothing that I can criticize as being horrible. Everybody was friendly, the atmosphere was lovely on a cold night and we were received warmly. It is just... in a competitive city like Calgary with so many wonderful restaurants, nothing stood out. We enjoyed the five course meal, but... More
